This was the official entry of Bendita's Catering Services for the Balsa Decor Competition during the celebration of Balsa Festival 2024 in Lian, Batangas last April 20, 2024.
Our team hailed as the grand champion and it was a back to back win!

The theme of our entry was "KASAYSAYAN" and it not only promotes the decoration itself but also gives education to the people coming to Matabungkay. This was also a commemoration of all of our heroes who fought for our country. We should not forget them, and let them be an inspiration to each and everyone of us.

Balsa Decoration Competition during the celebration of Balsa Festival 2023 #BenditasCateringServices #Champion

This is the entry of Bendita's Catering Services for Balsa Decoration Contest during the celebration of Balsa Festival 2023 held last April 20, 2023 at Baranggay Matabungkay, Lian, Batangas. The concept/theme of our Balsa decoration is Flores de Mayo. We believe that it is possible that one of pinoy's traditions like flores de mayo can be celebrated using the balsa of Matabungkay. Where each and every "Reyna" is on a bamboo raft with arch and creative decorations. In this scenario, we are promoting the tourism of Brgy. Matabungkay and at the same time we are celebrating one of the tradition of every Filipino Catholic which is the Flores de Mayo. We are extending our deepest gratitude to Sangguniang Baranggay of Matabungkay, headed by Brgy. Captain Ereneo Cabahog. We would like to thank also the organizers - Batangas Varsitarian. This Balsa decoration wouldn't be posible without the help of Team Bendita's Catering and Herrera Family. We would like to thank also Sherwin Macalindong for the bamboo raft that we used during the competition.
