WHAT: 1ST QUARTER GRASSROOT DANCESPORT TOURNAMENT 2025 in partnership with Pacific Mall Lucena
OBJECTIVES:
*Promote Physical Fitness and Mental Well-being through DanceSport.
1. Objective: To encourage participation in DanceSport as a fun, inclusive way to improve physical fitness, coordination, and mental well-being among diverse age groups and communities. This tournament aims to inspire people to embrace DanceSport as a means of enhancing their lifestyle, reducing stress, and building confidence.
*Cultivate Local Talent and Provide a Platform for Emerging Dancers
2. To identify, nurture, and showcase local DanceSport talent by offering an accessible, competitive platform for emerging dancers. The tournament will focus on grassroots-level participants, providing mentorship, visibility, and encouragement to pursue DanceSport at higher levels, potentially leading to national or international recognition.
*Strengthen Community Engagement and Cultural Appreciation through DanceSport.
3. To bring together community members, schools, families, and dance enthusiasts, fostering a sense of community through shared cultural appreciation and dance. The tournament will include workshops, performances, and educational sessions to deepen understanding of DanceSport's history, styles, and techniques, creating a lasting impact on local cultural vitality.
