COMMUNITY HEALTH ADVISORY

The Municipality wishes to inform the public that San Jose Laboratories, a respected medical diagnostics provider, will be visiting our Municipality on Thursday, May 22, 2025 to conduct health examinations.

These valuable health services have been arranged primarily for Department of Education personnel but are also being made available to all community members. This collaborative initiative aims to improve healthcare accessibility for everyone.

The San Jose Laboratories medical team will bring their comprehensive examination capabilities directly to our community, eliminating the need for long-distance travel to obtain quality healthcare services.

Venue information is currently being finalized by the organizing committee and will be communicated through official channels in the coming days.

All interested individuals are encouraged to participate in this beneficial health program.

"Tunay na Pagbabago sa Repormang Agraryo: Lawyers to the Benepisyaryo"

Date: April 30, 2025
Time: 1:00 PM (Assembly at 11:00 AM for free transportation)
Venue: Covered Court, San Fernando, Romblon

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

- Free legal consultations for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs), leasehold/share tenants, and landowners.

- Information dissemination on agrarian laws and dispute resolution.

- Guidance for resolving agrarian disputes in compliance with national policies.

TRANSPORTATION DETAILS:

- Free shuttle service will be provided.

Lubos po nating pinasasalamatan ang suporta at patnubay ng ating mga Barangay Officials sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ngayong araw, April 22, 2025, ng BAKTAS para sa kalikasan sa Bayan ng Magdiwang para sa Earth Day 2025. Ang inyong tulong ay naging susi sa pagpapatupad ng mga aktibidad sa paglilinis at mga kampanya para sa edukasyon sa pangangalaga ng kapaligiran. Isang espesyal na pasasalamat din po sa inyong tulong kay Sir Vinz Fajilan, Project Operation Officer 2, na naging daan upang maisali ang mga benepisyaryo ng 4Ps sa aming mga programa. Ang inyong pakikipagtulungan ay lubos naming pinahahalagahan at naging mahalaga sa tagumpay ng aming inisyatibo. Mabuhay po kayo!

ANNOUNCEMENT: LTO personnel will be visiting Magdiwang on May 2 & 3 to conduct Theoretical Driving Courses (TDC) and driver's license renewals. Interested individuals are urged to register immediately. Please visit your barangay hall and coordinate with your barangay officials to be included in the priority list. Slots are limited; it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

DHSUD Distributes Emergency Housing Aid to Typhoon Victims in the Municipality of Magdiwang.

Magdiwang, Romblon – The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) distributed emergency shelter support last wednesday to families whose homes were damaged by last year's Typhoons Carina and Kristine. Of the 42 families who reported damage, 29 qualified for assistance after an initial assessment by the Department.

The distribution ceremony was attended by Mayor Arthur Rey, MDRRMO Roland Paniagua, MPDO Engr. Sheila Rance, and DHSUD MIMAROPA Assistant Regional Director Benleo T. Jarangue, along with other DHSUD personnel.

Following the distribution, the DHSUD team visited LGU resettlement areas in Barangays Ambulong, Agnonoc, and Tampayan to explore potential collaborations and further shelter support. This suggests a commitment to ongoing support and long-term recovery efforts for the affected communities.
