We are going to have a partnership with a local tech startup, which aims to be of service to influencers, content creators, small businesses, and industries related to the PH CosComm. We don't have all of the details yet, but the systems that they will be developing will help boost both newbie and seasoned cosplayers.

Yesterday, we had a meeting about some developments and upcoming projects. Here are just a few of what we have discussed:

1. Standard issue equipment for our staff and seniors

2. Transition from the use of Adobe software to free/open source and paid alternatives that have a better pricing model

3. Small-scale events that will receive guaranteed sponsorships

A blessed and Happy New Year to us all! 🎇🎆

We thank our ambassadors, media partners, organizational partners, f0ll0w3rs, and private sponsors for being there with us and supporting our endeavors. We are thankful for both the successes and the lessons of 2024, and we look forward to the new opportunities to bless and to serve others in the Philippine CosComm.

We have a lot in store for 2025, and we will release announcements in the next few weeks.

Our remaining programs from the Christmas season of 2024 will continue until January 06, 2025, on the Feast of the Three Kings.

Elegance Cosplays 2024 Year-in-Review - Palar Outreach

Date: December 14, 2024
Location: Palar Village, Taguig City

We got invited to a small-scale event in Palar Village. The event was organized by a group of cosplayers who resided near the area, as well as those who came from other locations in Southern Metro Manila.

There was a feeding program for the kids. There were also outdoor party games such as "Bring Me", "Musical Chairs", and "The Boat is Sinking" to name a few. It was an opportunity not just to introduce such games to younger generations, but also to share our blessings and time with the children and the youth.

Elegance Cosplays 2024 Year-in-Review - Tanabata Proper

Event: Otaku Expo Tanabata
Dates: August 31 - September 01, 2024
Location: Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall

We were unable to meet cosplayers in kimono during the Pre-Tanabata event, so we tried to make up for it during this event. We have also seen some cosplayers who gave us motivation to do better in future iterations of this event.

Elegance Cosplays 2024 Year-in-Review - 2nd Anniversary

Event: Otaku Expo Pre-Tanabata Special
Dates: July 20-21, 2024
Location: Ayala Malls Manila Bay

This was the second time when we celebrated our founding anniversary at this event because of the theme. We roamed around the mall to find cosplayers wearing kimono or kimono-inspired costumes, as well as elegant-looking costumes. We also have the tradition of giving drink and snack treats to cosplayers with exceptional character portrayals.

This was another free admissions event featuring different hobbies, toy collections, and cosplay. We also tested some of our new standard issue equipment while roaming around the Activity Center.
