This Christmas, we reflect on the importance of gratitude for all the blessings that we receive, and for the successes and the lessons that we have learned.

Although we did not have large-scale projects and collaborations this year, we are thankful for the opportunities to serve those who availed of our consulting services, and to collaborate with cause-oriented, smaller-scale event organizers.

We are thankful to our ambassadors, media partners, organizational partners, f0ll0w3rs and supporters for helping us spread our advocacies and ideas to more cosplayers and con-goers.

We wish you all a blessed holiday season with your families and friends.

It's official. The idea that we have floated since last year is now part of an event by Red Cloud Interactive.

See you at the Otaku Musika Festival on December 29, 2024 at Robinsons Novaliches.

Our chairman and chief advisor JPA will be there as well. He will give our Elegance Prize to the performer who will show an exceptional performance, or whoever performs any of his favorite Japanese Christmas songs.

𝗢𝗠𝗙 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗝-𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

Rules and Mechanics

Who can join?

- solo, duo, or trio can join. (an individual must only join once during the contest either as a solo or in a group)
- Stage Performers, contest judges of the event, and RCI staff are ineligible to join the contest.

Prizes
* Cash Prizes are provided by our partner Elegance Cosplays
1st Prize/Champion - Php1,000 in cash + Certificate
2nd Prize - Php700 in cash + Certificate
3rd Prize - Php500 in cash + Certificate
All participants will receive an E-Certificate with name given a week after the event.

Song Choices:

1. Japanese Christmas songs performed by Japanese artists and groups (e.g. AKB48, C-ute)
2. Japanese covers of known English Christmas carols or hymns
3. City Pop Christmas songs
4. Christmas J-Pop songs performed by non Japanese artists (ex. BOA, Beverly)

NOTE: Song choices will be on a first come first serve basis. Song duplication is not allowed.

Not Allowed:

* "Padoru Padoru" is automatically disqualified.
* Fan made and/or unofficial cover songs not allowed
* Chosen song to perform as medley

Time limit:
* 5 minutes (including preparations, if any)

Criteria:

Voice Quality (tonality, song choice, & technique) - 40%
Mastery of Lyrics (pronunciation, enunciation)- 35%
Costume & Stage Presence - 20%
Audience Impact - 5%

Point Deductions:
* performance is more than 5 minutes (10 point deduction)
* reading/peeking lyrics while performing (30 point deduction)
* using pyro, confetti, or any materials that can mess the stage and cause program delay (30 point deduction)

A short message from the chairman and an intro to the "Project Dreamchild", which is currently being spearheaded by our organization

It's almost December, and so far, there are two event organizers that dared to be different and have shown interest in implementing our idea of a Japanese Christmas singing contest for their events.

Although our events sponsorships are now closed, we are preparing one Elegance Prize for one exceptional performance in each of those events. Our CosMatsuri ticket sponsorships are also on hold until further notice.

If we r3ach 5k f0ll0w3rs by December 16, we will add more Elegance Prizes and we might even consider sponsoring one ticket for each day of CosMatsuri.

Four years ago today, Elegance Photo Consortium sought to innovate during the height of the C*V*D-19 p4nd3m1c. With the General Community Quarantine limiting business operations and prohibiting large gatherings, our directors convened online to brainstorm future strategies. On the same day, our chairman met a consultant at a posh coffee shop (not Starbucks) to discuss content ideas, explore social trends, propose future projects, and even chat about anime and hobbies.

These discussions led to the inception of "Project Dreamchild." Consortium members not only reminisced and compiled elements of geek culture but also aimed to bring hope and aid to those in need and share their knowledge with younger generations of hobbyists.

Today, we commemorate the establishment of "Project Dreamchild," currently spearheaded by Elegance Cosplays. The project provides a framework for our other initiatives, helping young cosplayers refine their skills and creativity, counter negative influences with community support, and achieve their highest aspirations.
