Created exclusively for Kap James Dimagiba of Barangay Catmon, this barong seamlessly blends faith, artistry, and cultural heritage, making it a timeless tribute to both craftsmanship and devotion.

From Sketch to Reality

Blue Butterfly gown by Vince Sityar Collection worn by Selena Ali, Miss Asia Pacific International Belgium, who shined as the Miss Asia Pacific International 2024 2nd Runner Up and Continental Queen Europe 2024.

A Little Backstory

During our planning sessions, Laura asked if I could create a gown inspired by a blue butterfly. She shared a touching story about Selena’s close friend, who bravely fought cancer but sadly passed away. This experience inspired Selena and her mom to start a platform that helps women facing breast cancer, providing financial support so they can focus on their health without worrying about money.

They also began selling handbags with a blue butterfly symbol, with part of the proceeds going to this important cause. The blue butterfly symbolizes positive change, hope during tough times, and new beginnings. This gown was a tribute to Selena’s cherished friend, allowing her spirit to shine alongside Selena on stage.
