We would like to thank everyone who participated in our event “Coronation of the Princess to King: An Eight Events Block Screening of Black Panther 2”. Through this, we are able to come up with P20,000.00 to be donated to one of FEU - CES adopted communities “Ang Pulo Barangay Quilitisan, Calatagan Batangas.

Heads up!

The Coronation of the Princess to King: An Eight Events Block Screening of Black Panther 2 ticket price will now be Php 560, with the inclusion of a Goodie bag, and a raffle ticket. The snacks and drink will no longer be included, but rest assured that the quality of the program, the movie, and the other inclusions will not be compromised due to these changes.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to one of FEU-CES adopted community “Ang Pulo, Barangay Quilitisan, Calatagan, Batangas.

Ang Pulo, otherwise called as Calatagan Mangrove Forest Conservation Park, is managed by a people's organization called TALIMUSAK - short for Tagapangalaga ng Likas Yamang Dagat Mula sa Kilitisan and offers educational and recreational activities like kayaking, birdwatching, boatriding, mollusk fishing, eco-tour for students, survival activities, snorkeling and many more.

The conservation of this park can be served as a protection through natural disasters and individuals residing can have an additional income since its rehabilitation attracts tourists. Conservation International Philippines (CI), conducted a capacity-building seminar to individuals to directly managed and developed “Ang Pulo” as an ecotourism area.

Eyes Here Tamaraws!

Eight Events again are here to serve you all another great event that will be loved by Tamaraws.

We will be providing you a block screening of a film produced by Marvel Studios based on Marvel Comics. This movie is entitled "Black Panther." In Black Panther, T'Challa is crowned king of Wakanda following his father's death, but he is challenged by Killmonger who plans to abandon the country's isolationist policies and begin a global revolution.

There is more to come on the upcoming block screening of "Black Panther 2" introducing the main cast:

Danai Gurira as Okoye
Letitia Wright as Shuri
Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda
Winston Duke as M'Baku
Martin Freeman as CIA agent Everett K. Ross.

It's been confirmed that the sequel will honor the legacy of Chadwick Boseman and won't recast the role of T'Challa. Thankfully as well, there are no plans to use a 'digital double' in the sequel.

"There's only one Chadwick and he's not with us," said Marvel Studios' EVP Victoria Alonso.

Most of the cast will be back and there are new faces. Join us as we journey to another marvel cinematic universe on the 13th of November 2022 at SM City North EDSA.

Here are some of the highlights from our first event entitled "A Talk with the Modern Idols of the Food Industry: From Globule to a Star," which took place on October 06, 2022.

We, Eight Events and Production would like to express our deep gratitude to Chef Tatung and Sir Pancho Nesh for being our special guest speakers. Additionally, appreciation goes to Mr. Vincent Medrano and Mr. Francis Calderon our host for ensuring the event to flow smoothly, and all the participants for contributing their time and effort. We truly appreciate all of you.

That’s a wrap! Three performances in a week were a challenge, but we defied our limits. The Groovers are humbled by the love and support that the FEU community showered upon us throughout the week. We would like to thank PAHAM Events and Production, FEU ITHM Student Council, and Eight Events for trusting in the power of dancing to connect and send a positive message.

As the Midterms Week draw near, The FEU ITHM Groovers would be laying low with exposure to help instill balance between academics and performing among our student-dancers.

To our Groovers Fam. Thank you for the sacrifice, the commitment, and the passion. The performances would not have been successful if it wasn’t for all of you. We wish you the best of luck during your Midterms.
