Philippines is one of the countries that is considered to have different culinary influences, since the country was invaded by countries of Spain, America, and Japan. Because of these conquerors the culture and traditional Filipino cuisines have reflected in their cultures. Which given the country a great advantage in the culinary industry because Filipino dishes are easy to modify and to be enhanced. But the true beauty of the Filipino cuisines lies in its original and basic techniques in cooking. Filipino cuisines are competitive enough to shine internationally since the traditional way of cooking thought by our ancestors is still present up until now.

But the true definition of becoming a great chef is being self-disciplined on how you can properly resource your raw materials without wasting raw materials during every cooking process. Just like cooking, before obtaining these ingredients it also passed through distinct phases of processes until formed and delivered through the kitchen. As a return and respect for these precious ingredients, as chefs or experts in beautifying these materials, we should not waste their important parts and be resourceful.
