RSVP? Ano ba yun? 🤔🤔🤔

Karamihan sa wedding invitations may nakalagay na ganito...

"Please RSVP on or before (date)"

Ang RSVP ay French term na "Répondez s'il vous plaît" pero in English, ang ibig sabihin lang nyan ay PLEASE CONFIRM o PLEASE RESPOND.

O para mas madali, in Tagalog, magsabi ka sa couple kung makakarating ka ba sa kasal nila o hindi.

Pwedeng magtext, tumawag, magchat, or mag email ka sa kanila.

Pero usually, may nakalagay na mobile number kung saan ka magco-confirm ng attendance mo.

👉 Basta yung RSVP ibig sabihin nyan invited ka sa wedding and it's up to you kung makakaattend ka ba.

Yes or no lang ang sagot.

Now, kung kailangan mo muna magpaalam sa opisina ninyo at waiting ka pa kung papayagan ka sa leave mo, sabihin mo ito sa couple.

Wag sanang seenzone lang, or sasagot ka nga pero "susubukan ko" or pupusuan mo lang yung message.

Kasi anong ibig sabihin nun diba? Hindi naman manghuhula yung couple.

👉 Kelan ka dapat mag confirm?

May date din nakalagay na on or before. Ito po yung deadline. Hindi yung araw mismo ng kasal ang deadline.

👉 Bakit?

Kasi sa reception venue usually ay per plate (meal) ang binabayaran ng couple. 1 person = 1 plate. At kailangan magconfirm ng couple sa reception venue kung ilang plate at gaano karaming food ang ipapahanda nila para sa wedding.

Kung hindi kayo magcoconfirm, paano malalaman ng couple kung ilan ang magiging bisita nila?

Pwede naman sila manghula.

Kaso kapag dumating ka at wala ka ng naabutan na pagkain, wag mo sanang sisihin ang couple. Kasi hindi ka naman nag-RSVP.

Kung nag-RSVP ka naman at hindi ka nagpunta, isipin mo rin ang nasayang na binayaran ng couple kasi nag expect sila na makakarating ka.
