PNP Announces Productivity Enhancement Incentives for PNP Force in Fiscal Year 2023

MANILA - The Philippine National Police (PNP) is pleased to announce the disbursement of Productivity Enhancement Incentives (PEI) for Fiscal Year 2023, under Executive Order (EO) No. 201, series of 2016. Police Major General Rommel Francisco Marbil, the PNP Director for Comptrollership, confirmed that active-duty PNP personnel had received a PEI of P5,000.00, today, December 15, 2023.

The distribution of the PEI follows the guidelines outlined in Section 6 of EO 201, which states, “Starting from FY 2016, the Productivity Enhancement Incentive shall be given not earlier than December 15 of every year to all eligible government employees at Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000) each, to enhance the productivity of government employees.”

Meanwhile, Police General Benjamin C Acorda Jr., Chief of the Philippine National Police, expressed his gratitude for the unwavering dedication and hard work displayed by each member of the PNP. In a statement, Chief PNP Acorda said, “Our uniformed personnel demonstrate exemplary commitment to public service, often working tirelessly to maintain peace and order in our communities. The Productivity Enhancement Incentive serves as a small token of our appreciation for their sacrifices and acknowledges their critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the Filipino people.”

Chief PNP Acorda emphasizes that the PEI goes beyond being a financial reward; it symbolizes the government’s commitment to prioritizing the well-being of its personnel. The PNP remains committed to fostering a work environment that recognizes and values the contributions of its members.

The PNP would like to extend its gratitude to the government for its continuous support and dedication to the welfare of PNP personnel.

PNP DC Fiscal Directive 2023 has been formulated to establish the rules and regulations for granting the aforementioned incentive for Fiscal Year 2023 and subsequent years.
