🏆 Featured Alumni: Ping Bautista of Homecoming Batch 2001 🏆

We’re excited to highlight Ping Bautista, a true pioneer in the Philippine Ultimate community! Since the sport’s arrival in the Philippines in 2002, Ping has been an active force in its growth and development. He’s served as President and Board Member of both the Philippine Ultimate Association (PUA) and Philippine Flying Disc Association (PFDA), as well as a key figure in organizing major WFDF events in the region.

Ping’s commitment to Ultimate is unmatched—he’s been a player, captain, coach, and manager for the National Team, Pilipinas Ultimate. His work continues through his company, JMJ Sports Training Services, where he fosters grassroots programs for the sport’s future.

Ping is now the President of the Asia Oceania Flying Disc Federation (AOFDF), after serving in various leadership roles, including Secretary General and Ultimate Committee Chairperson. Outside of his Ultimate commitments, he is the Sports and Recreation Manager at Alabang Country Club and enjoys family life with his wife, Guila, and their four kids—all of whom play Ultimate!

Ping’s journey in Ultimate is a testament to his dedication to the sport and to the development of athletes in the Philippines and beyond.

Team Kilaw fetched a 4th place finish for the country at the 2024 China International Ultimate Open in Xi’an, China! The team went up against the 20 of the best teams in the world and wound up placing close to a podium finish in the mixed division!

Salamat sa Laban, KILAW! 🇵🇭

We may have missed the podium, but finishing 4th out of 20 teams is something we’re incredibly proud of. We went further than other international teams, including Australia, Russia, Thailand, and Singapore.

This tournament tested our limits like never before. From a punishing 16°C on Saturday to a brutal 6°C on Sunday 🥶, we faced extreme conditions head-on, refusing to back down.

Through every challenge, we fought with everything we had, showing the world our unwavering spirit, resilience, and heart. We battled until the very last moment.

To everyone who stood by us—your support fueled our fire. Para sa Pilipinas 🇵🇭
