Toxic Pinoy Culture:

When a mom is working - Ay sino nagaalaga sa anak mo? Kawawa naman lalaki sa iba instead na sa nanay.

When a mom is at home with the baby - Ay bakit hindi ka nagwowork? Bakit yung ibang nanay napagsasabay ang work at ang baby?

IT HAS TO STOP.

Just a glimpse of my reality.

This is what a room of a hands on mom looks like.

It's not always like this. Pero pag tinamaan ka ng antok ng anak mo, or clingy lang sya, lahat ng ginagawa mo, paused. 😂

Tapos ung kape mo malamig pa sa ilong ng pusa 😂

Being a stay at home wife with a baby is not a privilege. Sino bang gusto ang haggard ka 24/7 😂

Bonus fun fact: there's this one time i came out of the bathroom na may shampoo pa pla buhok ko kakamadali 😂 (coz when you are a mom, your life is practically not yours anymore, it's the baby's 😂)

Sino ba ang ayaw na magwork, na may 8hrs ako na nakaayos ako at hindi ako mkhang bilasang isda and i can pamper myself and buy things that would make me happy

But i chose this. And as moms, we all have our reasons why we do what we do.

So stop judging mothers, whatever they may be doing. We are all trying our best. Para saan pa may mothers' day kung huhusgahan nyo lang naman lahat ng nanay na kilala nyo? 😅

kapag naging NANAY ka na — wala na itong log-out, walang pause, walang stop, walang day-off, walang sahod, at mas lalong hindi pwedeng magresign! Dahil ang pagiging isang INA ay isang dakilang PROPESYON at habang buhay na KONTRATA.💪🏻💕

"After having a child, I realized that in the eyes of society mothers can't:

- Complain (who told you to have kids?)
- Cry (why are you crying? Did you think it was easy?)
- Getting tired of what? (you do nothing!)
- Sleep (You're lazy!)
- Rest (you'll have plenty of time for that after they grow up)
- Getting pregnant again (are you crazy? How many more kids do you want?)
- Quitting work (how will you support your child?)
- Work (who will take care of the child?)
- Leave them at the nursery (Don’t let others raise them!!)
- Being a housewife (Poor husband, works too hard and his wife stays at home!!)
- Being single (nobody wants a woman with kids)
- Going out for fun (why are you leaving your son with grandma to have fun?)

And you know whats worse???
90% of these phrases are spoken by other women.

Let's learn to be more supportive of each other. I'm human and I love my kids but I'm guilty of all these emotions at some point"
