: Naging isang Tropical Depression na ang minomonitor na Low Pressure Area (LPA) sa silangan ng Batanes at ito’y pinangalanang . Inaasahan itong magdadala ng maulap na kalangitan na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan sa ilang bahagi ng Luzon ngayong Biyernes, ayon sa ulat ng PAGASA.

Huling namataan ang sentro ni TD Julian sa layong 535 kilometers silangan ng Itbayat, Batanes na may lakas ng hangin na 55 kilometers kada oras malapit sa gitna, at bugso ng hangin na umaabot sa 70 kph. Kumikilos ito sa timog-kanlurang direksyon sa bilis na 15 kph.

Binabantayan din ng PAGASA ang isa pang tropical depression sa labas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). Sa ulat ng PAGASA ganap na ika-3:00 ng madaling araw nitong September 27, tinatayang nasa 2,600 kilometers silangan ito ng Central Luzon, at may lakas ng hangin na 55 kph, bugsong umaabot sa 70 kph, at kumikilos pa-hilaga, hilagang-kanluran sa bilis na 15 kph.

Makakaranas ng bahagyang maulap hanggang maulap na kalangitan na may pulu-pulong pag-ulan o pagkidlat at pagkulog dahil sa mga localized thunderstorms, at posible ang flash floods o landslides sa mga malalakas na thunderstorms.

Ayon sa PAGASA, posibleng magtagal hanggang sa susunod na linggo ang Tropical Depression , at sa ngayon ay hindi ito inaasahang magla-landfall sa bansa.

Pinoy pop-rock band known for their classic hits “𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀 (𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝘀 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗻)” and “𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻” is set to celebrate 25 years of music on stage with "𝐍𝐨𝐰 & 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧: 𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 & 𝐋𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭” happening on October 18, 2024 at the Metrotent Convention Center in Pasig City.

This concert will pay tribute to the band's enduring legacy in the local music scene.

In a press statement, Clem Castro, lead vocalist and guitarist of Orange & Lemons, said “Reaching this quarter-century milestone feels like a dream come true, and it’s a testament to the incredible community that surrounds us.”

“For this concert, we want to bring to the big stage and perform live, if not all, a majority of songs from our past 4 albums. The albums that defined different eras of our career in the music industry from the beginnings—the shot to commercial success, the psychedelic, and the cultural eras,” he added.

They also expressed their gratitude on Instagram towards their fans saying:
“As we mark a significant milestone—25 years in the music business—our hearts are brimming with gratitude and joy. This journey, from our early days to this remarkable anniversary, has been shaped by your unwavering support and passion for our music.”

“Here’s to the past 25 years and to many more! We can’t wait to continue this journey with you.”

American rock band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has arrived in Manila ahead of their two scheduled performances in the Philippines this week.

On Tuesday, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) shared a social media post showing the band members dressed casually as they landed at NAIA Terminal 1 via Malaysia Airlines.

The five-member group will perform two concerts in the country: one on September 11 in Davao, and another on September 12 in Manila.

Formed in 2003 in Florida, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus gained popularity for their hits "Face Down" and "Your Guardian Angel."

Their last visit to the Philippines was in 2016, during their "Don't You Fake It 10 Year Anniversary World Tour."

Opisyal na kinuha ng Marvel Comics bilang illustrator si Von Randal, isang Pinoy artist mula Olongapo City.

Kamakailan lang ay pumirma si Von ng mga kopya ng Philippines-exclusive Transformers #1 40th Anniversary Edition cover na tampok ang Pinoy Jeepney. Ginanap ito sa Supermanila Comic Con sa Makati City.

Kasama rin sa mga bagong illustrators na kinuha ng Marvel sina Roi Mercado at ang watercolor artist na si Frany. Si Randal ay magdidisenyo ng Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider #7, habang si Mercado naman ay gagawa sa interior art ng Venom War: Deadpool #3. Si Frany naman ang naatasang magdisenyo ng cover para sa Mystique #3.

Ayon kay Cebulski, malalim ang ugnayan ng Marvel Comics sa Pilipinas, dahil marami sa kanilang mga tagahanga ay mga Pilipino simula pa noong nagsimula ang Marvel sa industriya.

Ito rin ay patunay ng patuloy na pagkilala ng Marvel sa galing ng mga Pilipino sa comic book industry.

Tatawaging Ferdie ang unang nagbabadya na pumasok sa bansa, at ang ikalawang bagyo naman ay tatawaging Gener oras na pumasok sa PAR.

Patuloy naman ang pag-ulan sa ilang bahagi ng bansa sa kasalukuyan bunsod ng Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
