What is an UNPLUGGED WEDDING?

An unplugged wedding is one where the couple requests that guests refrain from using phones, cameras, or other electronic devices during the ceremony. This creates a more intimate atmosphere, allowing everyone to be fully present and enjoy the moment without distractions. It also ensures that professional photographers can capture the day without guests accidentally getting in the way or altering the aesthetics of the photos. This is usually requested by the couple for all the guests to follow, but unfortunately, the guests seem to be mad when being asked to take down their phones and remind that the wedding is unplugged.

ADVISORY!
This is to inform all event suppliers in Olongapo and Subic Bay that I had a meeting with Mr. Dennis Rolan E. Baviera, OIC, Accreditation Office and Ms. Amethya Dela Llana Koval, OIC, Regulatory Group to get first-hand information regarding accreditation of suppliers.

1. Suppliers who need accreditation are the ones who supply goods and services such as Lights and Sounds Supplier, Flowers and Styling, Caterers and other delivery services such as consumable goods and services alike.
2. The ff suppliers are not required to get an accreditation such as Photographers, Videographers, HMUAs, Hosts, Photobooth suppliers, Coordinators, Entertainers and other suppliers that don’t deliver supplies, food and alike.
3. Accreditation office will write a letter to the hotels to be the first implementor of this rule making sure that the suppliers working with them are accredited.
4. Accreditation grace period is until May 2025. (6 months from now)
