Have fun with your kids..

How to TEAch READing the easy way(Bonding moments with kids)
1.Review the m and a sounds together with the syllable formed;ma and am.
2.Show pictures with initial and final ma and am.Let your kids write below the pictures.
Examples; mango, mat ,ham,ram,mask
3.lntroduce the next sound by showing pictures.Ask your kids to name the pictures.examples...ink, igloo,iguana Indian
4.Tell your kids the initial sound.Have them notice how it is produced by showing your smile.
5.Tell them also that i has two sounds.Again show pictures like ice cream.Let your kids tell the name of the picture.
6.Write i on a board or sheet of paper.(lf possible the paper or board has a blue red blue lines.)
7.Write the letter on air.Have your kids follow.Let them write on the table using there finger.
8.If you have a prepared broken line letters have the pupils trace.
9.Let them copy the sound i in lower case or small form saying its sound.Below the lower case is the capital l.Again guide the kids .
10.Show pictures with initial i ,let the kids write below each pictures.
11. This time introduce again another syllable using the m sound and i sound by writing the i in front of m or before m; im ,mi.
12.Using pictures, let the kids write mi or im .
Examples; milk , swim, mitten.
13.Let the kids write the syllables im and mi repeatedly together with the am and ma.
14.This time introduce a sentence using the sounds learned. I am; l am mama ;l am mimi ;l am imim;l am mia; l am ami.
10.Let your kids copy while saying the sentences.

How to teach reading the easy way...(BONDING MOMENTS WITH YOUR KIDS)
1.After your kids have mastered the m sound,introduce the a sound.
2.Repeat the steps 6-10 of the m sound.
3.This time integrate the sound of m and a.
4.Connect the m and a sound with a dot repeatedly until they can form a syllable ma.
5.Tell your kids that what they have formed is a syllable.A syllable is composed of 2 or more letters .
6.Have your kids trace or write the syllable ma repeatedly.
7.Using a picture/s let your kids write the syllable ma on the blank.example... mango..mat..mask...map
8.Guide your kids how to read it.

How to teach reading the easy way.(bonding moments with kids)
1.Ask your kids how they call their mother.
2.lntroduce the initial sound that the kids are saying in lower case or small letter.
3.As you introduce ,write the sound on the board or a piece of paper many times or at least 5 saying its sound.Say mmmmmm
4.Tell your kids that mmmmm is the initial sound of mama or mommy.
5.Show more pictures with initial sound of m;
mango,monkey,milk,moon etc...
6.On a sheet of paper or flashcard where there is m tell your kids that that is the sound m
7.Write m on the air and let your kids follow.
8.Present a broken m on a sheet of paper or on the board.
9.Let them trace the sound saying its sound for them to master.
10.Let them write the sound by copying what they have traced.
11.Using the pictures which you have shown,
have them write the initial sound.
12.After they can identify the initial sound of pictures,introduce words with a final sound m.
13.Again,so that it would be easy for them,show pictures with final sound m.Examples; ham, clam, drum etc..
14.Repeat 8-13..

How to teach reading the easy way...(BONDING MOMENTS WITH YOUR KIDS)
1.Have your kids identify the sounds of the animals,colors,and shapes.
2. Explain that words are made up of letters.
3.lntroduce the sound of the letters first not the name.
5.lntroduce first the lower case or small letters.
6.Do not introduce all the sounds in just one setting.lt can lead to confusion and frustration.
7.Encourage them reading the labels of milk,toothpaste, or any labels and signages you'll encounter.
8.Read books with few prints.
9.Have them hear nursery rhymes ...
