One of the best parts of being an event host is being able to do what I love for the people I love. ๐Ÿฅฐ That's why one of the highlights of my 2024 was hosting the simple family gathering we had to celebrate my dear Lola's blessed life. โœจ Indeed, the Lord has been good to her, and as a result, we have been blessed beyond measure too. I praise God for how He has carried her through the years, and I am so thankful for the gift of having her in this life. My deepest desire is to be able to celebrate more memorable moments like this with her, together with everyone we cherish and love. โ˜บ๏ธ

It's a beautiful moment โ€“ a little pause in the chaos, a chance to breathe and truly feel the wonder of an answered prayer. The wedding day will end before you know it and having a quiet moment to thank God together and focus on each other before all the rush dies down is truly heartwarming. ๐Ÿ’•

Not many people know that my ability to host events was actually because I was trained to do public speaking in church. At a very young age, I started hosting church events from sunday school parties to youth gatherings to church-wide fellowships and to corporate events with other churches. By Godโ€™s grace, He has used my ministry experiences to train me to learn to communicate what I am learning, share the Gospel and help people hear and understand Godโ€™s word in various contexts. And as a by-product, I am also able to use my communication skills as my tentmaking so that I can keep serving the Lord and His church. โœจ Thank You, Jesus! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

That is why I feel so blessed that the last event I hosted for 2024 was our 27th Church Anniversary. โ˜บ๏ธ It was a milestone for us as a church family and it was also a memorial marker for me. I grew up in RLCC and I have been to all 27 anniversaries but year in and year out, I still find myself amazed at how God can be so good, so faithful, so gracious and loving to a bunch of imperfect and messy people like us. We stand at our 27th year all because of Godโ€™s unending grace and mercy through Jesus Christ our Lord. We believe that the Lord has given us the call to pursue the same mission without limitation. And by faith, we have decided to go ๐‘จ๐‘ณ๐‘ณ ๐‘ฐ๐‘ต, ๐‘จ๐‘ณ๐‘ณ ๐‘ถ๐‘ผ๐‘ป! Thank You Jesus and once again, Happy 27th Anniversary, RLCC! โœจ

For the third time in a row, I was once again given the awesome opportunity to be the for Dev Teamโ€™s year-end party, but this time in true 80โ€™s fashion. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿฉต And as usual, it was a fun, groovy night with this bunch because everyone was in the mood for a celebration! We had a lot of singing, dancing and affirmations to one another for another year of progress and success because of their valuable contributions to the companyโ€™s goals. I met the groom years back when he was still in college and when I found out that he was the groom of the bride I was talking to via chat, I was so happy and excited that I get to be their . ๐Ÿ™‚ David and Jiselleโ€™s story started in church and eventually by faith, they decided to vow to love each other in front of God and their beloved family and friends. Iโ€™ve had a list of churchmates who got married this year and each time they tie the knot, I find myself rejoicing insideโ€”thanking the Lord for how He has answered their prayers and for the amazing opportunity He has given me to be part of that. This is the exact same feeling I had when this lovely couple got married a few minutes after a double rainbow showed up. It was as if the Lord was confirming His promise to always hold them, to never let them go as they trust Him in this new season. โœจ The celebration that came afterwards was not just fun but exhilarating and truly memorable! Everyone, including the couple, had so much energy to give that the room was filled with laughter and joy. It was a gift from God and I am grateful that He made it happen for Geo and Steph. ๐Ÿ˜Œ
