Cancelled Flights Due to Typhoon Carina
As of July 23, 2024; 7:00 PM

Due to the impact of Typhoon Carina (International Name: Gaemi) on flight operations, Cebu Pacific has cancelled the following flights on July 23:

Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking:

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund

Full refund of your ticket.

As this is a developing situation, some flight changes may take place as the storm passes. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status and update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive email notifications on flight reminders and updates.

For other questions or concerns, passengers may send a message via Charlie the virtual assistant on the Cebu Pacific website, or through CEB’s official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

The prevailing weather condition and lighting alerts may result in possible flight delays or interruptions.


Airport authorities issue red lightning alerts when isolated thunderstorms occur in the vicinity of Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).


A red lightning temporarily suspends all ground operations and aircraft movements at the airport, including boarding, disembarkation, aircraft parking, baggage handling and all support activities.


This is to ensure the safety of passengers but also of the workers at the airport.

We advise passengers with flights to and from Bacolod, Cebu, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Kalibo, and Puerto Princesa to check the status of their flights before proceeding to the airport.

If your flight is CANCELLED, you will automatically be accommodated on the next available flight.

You may also avail of any of the following options:

1. Convert your ticket to Travel Credits equivalent to the unused segment of your ticket. Voucher validity is one year (1) from the date of issuance.

2. Rebook or Reroute your ticket to another flight with available space within 60 days from the original flight in the same booking class or higher within the same cabin class.
