I am honored to be given a part and meet beautiful people in this exhibit “Flowers for Self” by and

This exhibit is a great reminder to myself to
1) accept my rough edges
2) treat myself as soft and delicate as a flower
3) see people through their words and not tone - Alessa
4) receive the blessings I deserve
5) flowers are for everyone, no need for deeper meaning, which was a dilemma before because I thought I need to have greater connection to flowers to become a florist but it can be as simple as I enjoy creating arrangements and I love people’s reactions when they receive flowers

From choosing the colors to creating these three pieces, this arrangement made me question everything I know and my ability to do bouquets - did I really learn anything after 3ish yrs? can I do this alone? from thousands of choices in the flower market, do I know how to pick, what to pick, and what go well together? Lastly and most importantly, how strong/weak is my decision-making?

But lo and behold, with some help and compliments (aka validation that my subconscious mind may or may not be yearning for as a people pleaser person), I birthed to these 3 huge bouquets. The first bouquets under my own name.

(Dont worry, each post wont have these lengthy ass captions. it may switch from vocal to internal internalization.)
