Please do understand that for us to return your assurance fees, we have to check the items first upon reaching back to our shops.

Also, please understand us if we cannot check them immediately after the event dates it was used for as we do need time to rest as well.

‼️ AWARENESS POST: SCAMMER COURIER | PLEASE SPREAD ‼️

Context:

Our page had a transaction with Customer A and when it was time to return the set they rented, they requested to book the item back to us (which we did not hesitate to agree to). We received a tracking link that we check from time to time. Customer A was far from our shop so we naturally had to wait for the item to return. When it came, the courier in the photo asked us to pay a fee of β‚±135 for the shipping. I immediately contacted Customer A regarding the situation as it was stated in our terms and conditions that all shipping fees, to and fro, will be shouldered by the rentee. However, we noticed something amiss the conversation held with the rider and with what the shared link presented to us. As anyone who might see the photo, the price for the booking was only β‚±123 yet we were told to pay a price more than that. Other than that, according to the tracking page for the shipment, clearly it stated, "Order has been paid". Although before Customer A could have responded to what was happening, the rider just said that the "payment came in late" to his "account". From there it became ultimately suspicious because based on past transactions with this app, they do not accept e-currency. The courier left quite immediately after saying sorry multiple times without us having any space to cut in with what was happening. By then, the response from Customer A just solidified the injustice scheme of the person below.

Responses from Customer A:

- "Are you sure it's mine? If it's β‚±135, then it might not be MY booking." (Restating the β‚±123 payment shown in the photo)
- "Did you pay??" (Made us wonder a bit whether this statement was in a panic or just regularly asking for just in case they were about to pay us separately as this happens sometimes)
- "No, I paid it in cash" (payment coming in late scheme was debunked)

Please be wary of this person if you use the Lalamove application. Stay safe everyone and clarify everything else before paying anything.

MACHA’S TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1 200php downpayment is required for reservation. This is non-refundable.
2 Renter will handle the shipping fee back and forth.
3 Picture of 1 Valid ID and selfie with the ID is required to rent our costumes.
4 +100php for extension per day.
5 Return all of the rented items in their original storage bags Losing any of the ziplocks, ecobags, and hairnets will be charged to the assurance fee.
6 Do not wash the wigs and costumes before and after using it. Rest assured that everything are washed before shipping it to you.
7 Altering the costume by stitches, adhesives, or safety pins are strictly prohibited.
8 Damages and minor missing items will be charged to the assurance fee but in the case where the damage is beyond fixing or major items are missing, the renter will have to buy the set in full price.
9 If problems can’t be resolved privately, we won’t hesitate to post/call out irresponsible renters/scammers.
10 Assurance fee will be returned within 48 hours. The admins will need time to check every item returned.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- We allow provincial shipping as long as the rental date will not clash with another renter's rental date. We ship 7 days before the rental date to accommodate courier delays.
- We don’t offer meet ups or onsite rentals as the schedule of the admins are unstable.
- Our sets can be used at indoor or outdoor locations.
- Rush same day rentals are allowed but the price will be +50% of rent price + Assurance Fee (subject to approval of MaCha). Same day rental meant inquiry, payment, ship out, and return occurred at the same day.
