Our Story
Fernandez-Bulan Events and Catering Services traced its humble beginnings years ago from organizing small to medium sized kiddie parties that included party decors, kiddie clowns, kiddie magic shows, kiddie food carts and other things especially designed for children’s fun and enjoyment aside of course, from the usual kiddie party foods. Children by nature love chocolates, so much so that it became a mainstay in all events. These were the times that the company was still known by its first name, PARTI-COLATES EVENTS AND MANAGEMENT, derived from the words "Party" and "Chocolates". During these parties, since the children were always escorted by an adult or parents, more often than not, the hosts ordered a different set of foods for adults. These foods were personally prepared and cooked by Ms. Mary Ann Fernandez, one of the founding partners (the other is her husband Michael Bulan). Mary Ann is an HRM graduate who specialized in culinary arts and genuinely loves to cook, so much so that the excellent foods for adults during these parties became the topic of discussion among the guests after each event. The turning point came when a guest of one of these kiddie parties contracted PARTI-COLATES to organize and cater a birthday celebration attended purely by adults just because she liked the foods. Seizing the opportunity, Mary Ann and Michael poured everything in their resources to make the event a great success not only in the area of foods where they are strongest, but also in the planning and precise ex*****on, design and presentation of the event. The result was a great success to the delight of the host and earned praises from among the guests, to Michael and Mary Ann's surprise. But the best moment for the couple was their unexplained pleasant feeling in seeing the happy faces and demeanor of the hosts after each successful event. It was then then that they vowed to maintain a certain standard of excellence in every event that they manage and cater. Mainly by word of mouth, PARTI-COLATES started to get catering orders of the same theme. By this time they were getting debuts, get-together, Christmas parties, even weddings. It was then that they decided to change the name PARTI-COLATES to FERNANDEZ-BULAN EVENTS AND CATERING SERVICES, to conform with the times and challenges that these different levels and concepts call for. Nowadays, yes, we still do kiddie parties and mind you, we are still very good at it, and experience over the years made us even more than ready to cater to almost any kind of event. More importantly, to answer one of the most important consideration that is probably in your mind, YES!!! YOU STILL GET GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY WHEN WE DO IT FOR YOU.
