Rolling shots or "Rollers" were one of the "bucket" list shots when I started automotive photography. It requires a lot of planning, you have to think about your background plus you need to trust the other driver. It's almost like a dance.

As a photographer for more than 15 years, I have always worked "behind the scenes" and alongside clients. Our job was simple, capture the best moments and make great, creative work.

These days, I try to be more "social" and make connections rather than just thinking about the most creative shot next. It's a whole different animal but for anyone out there wanting to be a content creator. I have one suggestion.

Just do it, but do A LOT of it (minimum 100 videos) and try to get better each and every time.

Don't strive for fame, this is a ton of work. Most of it is unpaid but more than anything else, I wanted this for a long time and I couldn't be happier.

Pretty crazy that Subaru Asia has been sharing my work on Test Drive PH. I still have a ton of insecurity when it comes to my videos and the audience that I have versus my peers.

For all the creators out there, lets celebrate this wins for a moment but make sure to get back out there, do the work, be patient and learn to love the process.

There's still a long way to go.

Doing intros is one of my favs when creating videos for my automotive channel Test Drive PH , the first 10-30 seconds set the tone for the whole video, and if you'll notice it requires you to get up early and maybe even shoot at night.

At times it's a lot of late nights and sleep morning but it's a lot of fun.

I wanted to share this video trailer that we did with a few friends. We shot this when my channel was just 2 months old, I asked Carlo and Robert If they would join, they of course obliged. The nice thing is we were just outselves.

I had very little experience to shooting a video much less telling a story in such a short trailer.

I'm pretty proud of this.
