The Sigbin, a feared creature of Philippine mythology, lurks in the night, preying on shadows. It moves in eerie silence, walking backward with its head tucked between its hind legs, unseen except for its glowing eyes and a stolen amulet pulsing with stolen life force.
Cursed by a powerful witch, the Sigbin roams in eternal hunger, feeding only on shadows to survive. Its legend, whispered across Eastern Visayas, tells of a being bound to darkness, feared yet unseen.
This national costume brings the Sigbin to life—its luminous eyes and blazing amulet capturing the terror of this spectral beast. A tribute to deception and folklore, it embodies one of the Philippines’ most feared supernatural myths.
