Sometimes, clients think suppliers are magicians. And sometimes, it does feel that way because they are able to make things happen despite the shortcomings of the clients or they are able to exceed expectations.
But I do have to say… it depends on the perception of the couple. A supplier can do all that he can and more yet still fall short in the eyes of the client simply because the client is too much of a perfectionist or the client thinks he should get an arm and a leg for what he paid for — even if the supplier actually went the extra mile already.
Nothing is 100% perfect. Even you as a client — perhaps there have been times you fell short of your own expectations or the expectations of others in school or at work. Remember that before you judge a supplier for falling short. Your parameters might not be humanely possible anymore.
Pero this does not mean you shouldn’t get what you paid for. Fellow suppliers, let’s give every wedding all that we’ve got. That also means — we should not give excuses like walang tulog coz tuloy tuloy ang events. Choice mo if you will not space events. Therefore, the client should not feel he or she is the fourth or fifth in your series and you’ve had no sleep the past days. Performance level all the time… unless of course, you are sick and you need replacement.
Clients, find suppliers you can trust so that you won’t have to worry about whether or not the supplier is doing his best. And please… provide what is needed in a timely manner also.
