Our Story
OEL Creatives started on May 15, 2017. The Nativity of the Lord Parish held its parish priest’s birthday celebration and sought help from the founder, Leia Reyna T. Pasumbal to produce a documentary film about Father Ronald Macale’s life’s journey. A team was co-created by Jose Daniel A. Domingo, the editor and cinematographer of the production outfit up to date.
The name OEL Creatives holds a much deeper meaning true to its origin and where it all started—service for the Church. OEL stands for ORA ET LABORA which is a Latin phrase that means Pray and Work. This is one of St. Benedict’s rules in life because he believes that prayer and work are partners and one can’t go alone. OEL’s founders share the same belief and they stand for it by capturing life’s precious moments and creating stories with love and passion. They do it with hard work and consistent belief that the talent and skills shared by OEL’s team members come from God alone. OEL Creatives continues to strive for excellence by staying true to its core beliefs and values—pray and work.
