September of 2024, we formally closed our open studio and storage, adjacent to the old shop. It was planned to just maintain the boutique, let the last quarter pass and think through what will be our next steps. In the middle of disposing and moving things, a place was offered to us, an old house which I cannot resist but to say “YES” on the next day from my first visit. A risk-it-all-YES, which birthed CORNER26.✨ A genuine and comforting-YES from friends and creative individuals which we asked to collaborate with. With no clear concrete actions to take, but with strong-willed hearts and defined intents, the right paths and the right people gravitated to this endeavor, making it happen in the most unimaginable timeline. Corner26 is a creative, collective space, conceptualized and managed by Cora Mina. Nov. 26, we officially opened our doors and had our soft opening.
Our original floral boutique, embraced by our seven year old-living greenwall and greenroof will still be operational, a more personal, creative working space by Cora Mina and still open to clients and curious visitors in the neighborhood.
As we welcome the new year, we want to thank you all for following thru in our journey, since 2017; warm gratitude for inspiring us to be creative and do better. 2024 was not an easy year but had the most magical twist and turns.✨
