Story Time

Nagsimula ang hosting journey ko noong 2019 (sa pagkakaalala ko). May kaibigan akong HMUA na may client na ikakasal, pero wala pa silang mahanap na host. Sinabihan niya ako na subukan ko mag-host para sa wedding. Ako naman, bilang game na game sa mga ganitong ganap—basta may kitaan—go lang! At doon nagsimula ang lahat. Hanggang sa nagtuloy-tuloy na ang mga hosting gigs ko.

Noong 2022, nag-decide akong magtaas ng hosting fee. Bukod sa nakakapa ko na ang industriya, sunod-sunod din ang mga gigs, at maraming clients at kaibigan ang nagpapaalala sa akin ng worth ko. Lagi akong nakakatanggap ng compliments at tips, kaya na-realize ko na deserve ko naman sguro magtaas ng rate para kahit papaano ay makapag invest din ako sa mga damit at sa sarili ko since ako ang pinakapuhunan ko.

Then ngayong gabi, muli ko itong napatunayan. 🥹🫶 Tumawag ang dati kong client para sabihin kung magkano iyong talent fee ko na nilagay nya sa proposal nila. Sabi niya, “No cuts, purely talent fee mo ‘yan,” and nagulat ako kasi 5 digits syaaa 😳🥹 and Sabi ko "sir Ang laki po masyado" but Sabi nya "No it's okay" dahil iyon daw ang tingin niyang deserve ko—lalo na nung nakita niya ang hosting skills ko sa birthday ng daddy niya.

Kaya grabe lang iyong tuwa ng puso ko tonight. 🥹 First time kong makakatanggap ng ganitong kalaking talent fee, and to be honest, sobrang happy at excited ako! Big event to next year with almost 2k audience and may mga Boss Sila na manggagaling pa sa ibang bansa. Siyempre, may pressure and fear ako dahil alam ko naman sa sarili ko na marami pa Akong need na iimprove and syempre kailangan bongga at wow-factor talaga ang maibigay ko sa event, pero iniisip ko na baka ito na din ang paraan ni God para buksan ang bagong opportunities para sa akin ay dalhin Ako to the next level.

Kaya sa lahat ng clients ko at sa mga patuloy na sumusuporta—maraming maraming salamat po. 🥹 Hindi ko alam kung saan ako dadalhin ng journey na ito, pero tiwala ako sa plano Niya. All glory belongs to God. 💛🤍

And Maligayang pasko po sa ating lahat. 🤍

Just want to share something na sobrang nagpataba ng puso ko kahapon. 🥰

Of course, bilang host ng isang wedding, we always want to give our best effort na mapasaya ang couple and ganoon din ang mga guest.

Sa bawat event ko palagi pa din namang may kaba sa puso ko and may mga thoughts like what if hindi ko sila mapasaya? What if hindi ko mameet iyong expectations ni client? What if I fail?

But you know what everytime I feel unsatisfied about my performance, there will always someone na ipapadala si God to tap my back and and encourage me.

Like what happened kagabi. One of the principal sponsor - si Ms. Cynthia, after ng event bigla akong kinausap and she commended me saying I did a great job 🥹🥹😍 waaah my heart. Kaya naman nagrequest kami sa kanya na maivideo iyong feedback nya. 💖 Kaya here is the video guys. 🥰

P.s Of course, I want to share the success ng event hindi lang sa akin kundi sa lahat ng co-suppliers ko na nakasama kahapon.
