What's up Cosplayers? Are you ready to wow the crowd with your amazing costumes?

Here's the Guidelines for HobbyTown's Cosplay Compatition on Day 3, December 1 🗓

Cosplay Competition Application will be ON-SITE

General Rules 📚

Eligibility:
✅️ The competition is open to all ages unless otherwise specified.

📝Registration:
✅️ Complete the registration form, providing details like name, character, source material, and contact information.
✅️ Submit a reference image of the character.

🧛‍♂️Costume Requirements:
✅️ Costumes can be self-made, commissioned, or store-bought.
✅️ Original designs inspired by existing characters must be accompanied by concept art.

👥️️Decorum:
✅️ All costumes must adhere to event dress codes, avoiding nudity, offensive symbols, or inappropriate content.
✅️ Props must be safe and comply with venue rules (e.g., no sharp edges, functional fi****ms, or hazardous materials).

🕑Timing:
✅️ It is imperative that the participants be at the event venue 30 minutes prior to the start of the competition.
✅️ Each performance must stay within the stage time limit, 2–3 minutes.

✅️Categories:
Participants can enter under one of the following categories:

⭐️Children's cosplay: For cosplayers aged 3-15 years old. Must have parental consent.
⭐️Adults Cosplay: Cosplayers aged 16 onwards. For those with moderate to advanced experience or costumes with significant handmade elements.

🏆Special Awards:

✨️Best in Show
✨️Best in Armor
✨️People's Choice

🪶Judging Criteria
Participants will be evaluated based on:

✅️Craftsmanship (40%)
Quality and detail of the costume.
Effort and skill in construction.
✅️Accuracy (30%)
Faithfulness to the character’s design.
Attention to small details.
✅️Performance/Presentation (20%)
Stage presence, creativity, and overall impact.
If performing, alignment with the character’s personality or story.
✅️Originality (10%)
Unique twists or interpretations of the character.

🔊Audio:

✅️Audio files must be in MP3 format stored in a USB flash drive that will be handed over to our team prior the competition.
❌️Cellphone audio will not be allowed.

🎨Props/Effects:

✅️Props must be pre-approved by the event staff.
❌️No pyrotechnics, live animals, or materials that could harm the audience or stage.

‼️Disqualification‼️
Participants may be disqualified for:
❌️Violating safety rules or venue regulations.
❌️Plagiarism or dishonesty about costume creation.
❌️Disrespectful behavior toward staff, judges, or other participants.

🦸‍♂️Tips for Participants🦸‍♀️
✅️Test your costume for mobility and durability.
✅️Practice your stage performance in advance.
✅️Bring repair tools and backup supplies in case of emergencies.
