I will always be grateful for what Hari ng Pilipinas, Inc. has brought into my life and the opportunities it has paved for my career. However, it is time to speak up.
During my victory in 2022, I was promised a prize of more than โฑ100,000.00. Thanks to sponsors and corporate awards, I received some cash prizes, but this was separate from the promised amount.
My team and I, during Hari ng Negros 2022, signed a contract provided by the provincial director outlining the prize package and its inclusions. Everything proceeded smoothly, and I was honored to be crowned Hari ng Negros 2022, granting me the opportunity to represent Negros Occidental in Hari ng Pilipinas nationwide.
Each provincial directors were told to pay a franchise fee of โฑ50,000, and there were approximately 45 candidates from all over the Philippines.
During Hari Ng Negros, We were paid.
Due to respect and gratitude, we waited after the reign before raising the concern with the prize to the organization. The judges were esteemed, my first pageant at age 20. After winning Hari ng Pilipinas 2022 It was very evident on our end na I wasnโt the target winner of the organization. The results were computerized so it cannot be tampered. I would credit our former road manager of Hari Ng Pilipinas who really fought with me that time and defended whatโs rightfully mine. I almost got decrowned days after the coronation night because I felt disrespected. I went home to negros on that same morning. Afterwards a lot of backlash from the inside was shared. โAng attitude daw ng winner keshyo ganto ganyanโ cause I really refused to be manipulated and taken advantage of but if only HNP would understand how hard it was for me and my Make-Up Artist/Handler to continue thinking weโll receive nothing in return.
Compared to Hari ng Negros, there were no contracts nor MOA during Hari Ng Pilipinas. All the hardwork and preparations me and my team did was paid off for winning but mere claps and congratulations will not suffice for our expenses and sleepless nights preparing (There were times na nasugod pako sa hospital sa pagod studying nursing and training).
I chose to accept it but seeing my team and having no financial help that I can give them in return is saddening.
In the past, I chose to let it slide out of respect for the directors who spoke to me, explaining that Hari ng Pilipinas 2023 might be the last edition due to financial challenges. However, the decision to launch another pageant instead of addressing unresolved concerns is, in my view, deeply disappointing. During HNP 2023 I did not get to pass down my crown and have my final walk. My respect to a good friend of mine, the first runner up, who took responsibility to crown.
While I appreciated the return on my investment through judging and guesting opportunities, this ongoing disregard cannot continue.
My gratitude to HNP for helping me start my career here in negros and outside the province but I am confident as well that I have built my reputation and career because of my hard work. My advocacy during that pageant YAKAP Program is now a Youth led organization that focused on voluteerism and has conducted various medical missions, Libreng Tuli, Tree planting and more.
This is for my HNP Brothers as well during that batch na gumastos nga halos 100k din for the preparation of the nationals, we really sat down most of us in dismay as the pageant journey went on. I hope this boycott could give everyone justice.
As I advocate for progress, I believe organization that lacks accountability and funds to give prizes to their winners should seize to continue, hence releasing this statement and boycott is as important as taking my affiliations down. I hope that I can gain your support on this decision.

2022 Grand Winner, am no longer affiliated with Harlijk Productions and Hari ng Pilipinas due to unresolved concerns regarding the awarding of rightful prizes to deserving contestants. Upholding fairness and integrity is vital, and I believe accountability is necessary to maintain the trust of the pageant community.
As such, I support a collective call to boycott the organization until these issues are addressed and meaningful steps are taken to ensure transparency and fairness.
I encourage everyone with the use of my platform to unite in this effort, withholding support until the organization demonstrates its commitment to recognizing the hard work and achievements of its contestants.
I am and will always be your Hari Ng Pilipinas 2022.
