I remember the time when we were young, walking around with our dad in an unfamiliar placeโฆ He held our hands tightly so that we wonโt get lost.
While we've already grown up and seem to be on our own, I realized Dad has never really let go of his hand. He is always there, supporting us.
What Iโve drawn is a representation of our Dad as a version of Gwan-sik (๐๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ท๐ฆ๐ด ๐ ๐ฐ๐ถ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด), a heartwarming kdrama that reminded us to appreciate parents, especially good fathers.
As a daughter, I wasnโt looking for a perfect father. Dadโs kindness is more than enough. I appreciate my dad for being who he is, loving us unconditionally, and always delighted to see us home.
Hereโs to appreciating all fathers who love us wholeheartedly ever since ๐๐
