The Council on Culture, Arts, and Tourism (CCAT) held a successful monthly meeting on November 7, 2024, at City College of San Jose del Monte. During the meeting, the Council reviewed the City's participation in the Kasanggayahan Festival and addressed various matters concerning the management of the organization.

The year 2024 has been a remarkable one for San Jose del Monte, and the CCAT Officers are celebrating this significant milestone.

This year, we are not just participating; we aim to captivate hearts and minds with the vibrant essence of our culture. But before the exhilarating main competition unfolds, let’s take a moment to delve deeper into the rich history and significance of the Tanglawan Festival. With its roots steeped in tradition, the festival celebrates the unique artistry, warmth, and spirit of our community.

One of the most awaited celebrations in the City of San Jose del Monte is the commemoration of its patron, St. Joseph The Worker and the city’s founding anniversary - the 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹.

Derived from the Old Tagalog word “𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘸” which means “𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵,” symbolizes the light that has been guiding the San Joseños from the beginning to the progressive future ahead.
