Our Story
God orchestrated the beginnings of Emerald Courtyard in the middle of 2017, shortly after I had committed my life to Christ. I was at a crossroads at the time, unsure of whether to pursue a career in the Philippines or heavy-heartedly start a new life abroad. As I eagerly prayed to the Lord for direction, my father decided to share plans of turning a Bulacan property into an events venue. He feared, however, that no one would be able to manage it. Without any hesitation, and with complete peace in my heart, I accepted the opportunity.
Our family took a leap of faith, having assurance of things hoped for and conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1), as we were confident that this was what the Lord had led us to do. So, we trusted in God to provide for the construction of the property and to guide us throughout the process. God was faithful, and Emerald Courtyard Events Place officially opened on March 16, 2019. From an empty lot overtaken with overgrown foliage and trash, God slowly and faithfully allowed us to turn the property into the beautiful venue that it is today.
We’ve seen God’s transformative power in restoring and redeeming those that seem lost. We’ve seen Him do it with the property that is now Emerald Courtyard, and we’ve seen Him do it in the individual lives of our family. It is our hope that our guests will be able to witness what faith in a good and mighty God can accomplish for His glory.
