Last month, a news in the wedding industry came out. A kind of news that nobody wants to wake up to. A team of wedding supplier came to a big mishap. Dreams of almost a hundred couples were shattered. Lights of hope were dimmed. It was at that time I posted to give back. December was a huge season for all the wedding suppliers and perfect timing to share what we have gained.

I posted about giving back by offering our services for free. Absolutely free. I did that not to 'ride' over the misfortune of a collegue but to regain the trust that was taken from us (because of the news about couples being scammed, etc.). Several couples reached out to us. Stories were all heart breaking. Emotions were all the same. But only one really captured me. She was Miss Patricia Lafrades. We talked, and right in an instant, I knew she needed me, us. She was so emotional that she could hardly talk. I promised her to give her, the wedding she could've had with only one request. To forgive and move forward. I know it was hard for her and her husband to be, but I asked them to, so we can freely start anew. After confirming that we will be their new wedding planner, several friends in the industry came to help us. Those who never had a second thought of sending help (in all forms). Those who walked with us, as we all started our steps towards the couple's forever.

And earlier today was the moment everyone looked forward to, to what have seemed to be a reminder of misfortune, but by God's grace, the day went so well as if it was the wedding the couple would really have wanted to have

To our dear couple, Kevin Peters and Patricia Lafrades, may this day be a reminder that no matter what, always choose to be kind and grateful and if the day comes that you get so much blessings from up above, may you always remember to help others because the best gift that you can give is to give back.
