Visita Iglesia: Maundy Thursday

Jesus asked his disciples to stay and watch with Him while they were in the garden of Gethsemane. This tradition is a pilgrimage to various altars of repose, atleast in 7 different churches that correspond to each of the seven places or stations that were made by Jesus between the Last Supper to His crucifixion on the cross.

This year, 2 altars of repose were styled by Fleur-de-lis Event Styling team. Thank You Lord we were able to serve you again.

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the holy week. The Christian feast that falls on the Sunday before Easter. The feast commemorates Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Its name originates from the palm branches waved by the crowd to greet and honor Jesus Christ as he entered the city.

Fleur-de-lis elegant style of decorating the beautiful parish of St. Raphael, the Archangel in Sagkahan, Tacloban City. Thank you Dr. Charissa Collera for the trust.

The fleur de lis ⚜️ (flower of the lily) is a traditional symbol for Mary. Since it has also been used to represent French royalty, the fleur de lis connects to our Blessed Virgin Mary’s apparition in 1858 as well, when a series of 18 appearances that the Blessed Virgin Mary made to a 14-year-old French peasant girl, Saint Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France.

Fleur-de-lis Event Styling is forever grateful for what we have now, because more than 12 years ago we started to learn the art of floristry at this grotto in the city of Tacloban to show our love to Mother Mary. We were so inspired, and the Lord has indeed blessed us with this precious talent that keeps getting better.

Thus, we offer the name, symbol and everything we do to our dearest Mary. Thank you for the opportunity and we promise to continue honoring and serving the Lord through the Blessed Virgin Mary.
