A scorching atmosphere continues to pummel Tarlac Province as different municipalities are predicted to experience over 40°C heat index later at 2:00 PM.

According to PAGASA, at least 30 areas in the country may experience heat indexes in the “danger” levels.

Heat Index is different from air temperature as it accounts for the air's humidity to determine what temperature the body feels.

Tarlac Forum would like to emphasize that this heat index was computed internally by our office using air temperature, relative humidity, and dew point data gathered from Windy.com. Furthermore our office would like to affirm that this is not an official PAGASA announcement.

PAGASA continues to remind everyone that places with a heat index of 33°C to 41°C should exercise "Extreme Caution", warning Filipinos that continuous physical activity may lead to heat-related injuries.
