Under LTO Admin Order No. AO-VDM-2024-046:

Ang Seller ng sasakyan ay dapat mag report sa LTO ng transaction SA LOOB NG 5 DAYS.

Ang buyer naman ay dapat mag transfer ng ownership SA LOOB NG 20 working days from the sale, donation or transfer of the motor vehicle or motorcycle reckoned from the notarial date of the Deed of Sale or the actual turn over of the unit to the buyer, whichever is earlier.

✓ Failure to report and transfer of ownership within the required number of days, ang SELLER at BUYER ay papatawan ng penalty amounting to Php 20,000 each.

✓ Failure to report and transfer of ownership (yung wala talaga kayong ginawa, hindi late reporting or transfer at nahuli kayo ng LTO), ang SELLER at BUYER ay papatawan ng penalty amounting to Php 40,000 each.

✓ This order is retroactive. Ibig sabihin, kahit 10 years ago ka na nagbenta, dapat nireport mo kagad sa LTO ang naging bentahan within 5 working days upon effectivity nitong order.
