A million thanks to the best CEO in the world. Thank you for giving us some words of encouragement and full support even if it is not related to our work. You are amazing. Thank you and God bless you.

When I was 15, my father became a patient of depression. He was a trader but due to depression, he lost everything. Belonging to the remotest area of Pakistan - Hunza in Gilgit Baltistan, where we don’t even have access to basic health infrastructure, finding treatment of a mental illness is impossible. It was a really hard time for our family. My mother, whom I call ‘Iron lady’ stood up for us and started working in our fields which remained the only source of our income. She became our inspiration and motivated us to do better. That was the turning point of my life. Before my father’s illness, I was an ordinary child with no ambitions. But when I saw my mother working hard, I decided to repay her by studying hard. I became the youngest researcher in Fsc and my research paper got published in an international journal. In intermediate, I stood first in a technical paper presentation competition among the students of LUMS and Giki. Suffice to say, I worked as hard as I could. Then I decided to start a social campaign for drop outs and children of IDPs. It has been five years now and the biggest reward I got from it was their smiles and prayers. When they see me as hope, someone who can change their lives, it gives me happiness. I’m happy that I’m doing something for the satisfaction of my soul instead of just earning money.
People often say that refugees and IDPs are the reason behind terrorism but we need to understand that they are the ones most affected by terrorism. We are getting everything; good education, health and every other facility but they are deprived. If they are opening themselves easily to extremism, the reason is that they are uneducated. If you want to end it, then educate them rather than just blaming them. It’s not impossible. Even if we start contributing just a few hours of our week, we can save these children from being victims and make them the bright future of our country.
