Great step by a father

Renowned novelist Khaled Hosseini, who is known for his books like The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns, took to social media on Wednesday, July 13, to share that his daughter, Haris, has come out as a transgender person.

In an emotional note, the 57-year-old author revealed that he has known about his twenty-one-year-old daughter Haris’ journey for a year and noted how transitioning can be emotionally, physically, socially and psychologically trying. “Yesterday, my twenty-one-year-old daughter Haris came out to the world as transgender. I have known about Haris’ journey since last year and I’ve watched her navigate some very trying personal times.”

I am Abishey Basharat from Quetta
I am 22 years old Transgender and I am not ashamed of it because it is my God's decision.
Soon , I will be graduated from University of Balochistan in FineArts.
It is not easy for a transgender to study in an Institute even to live in this society just because of our sick thoughts.
I had alot of trouble and faced people's behavior.
However, I believe in God and with huge spirit and motivation I have reached at this point.I feel love to share this with you all.
Dont loose hope, Don't let passion down and get the better of you. It is you who have to prove others wrong and turn their thoughts towards positivity with your achievement. Finally, tell them to accept reality, accept as you are. Be yourself and Prove yourself.
