*Happy National Farmers Day 2022*

Today Department of Sociology arranged a walk to celebrate *National Farmers Day* at Campus in the honor of Farmers in which all Faculty members and students participated. In Pakistan it is observed on 18th of December.
This is a day to honor and thank all of the hardworking farmers and ranchers who plow, sow, grow, and harvest to feed our nation. We especially rely on farmers to get fresh food on our tables. Let’s pay tribute to the men, women, and families who put food in the grocery stores and on our tables every day.

Today DOS conducted an awareness walk on the onset of Cleanliness Week at UOC (Dec 5-9).
Five different teams comprising of 50 students and 5 faculty members of DOS visited Ariya Block, UET Building, Inter Campus and City Block to pick up trash from galleries, classrooms, tracks and loans.

Faculty members interacted with students inside and outside the classrooms and delivered the message on Cleanliness.
The purpose of this act is to take our responsibility to make our surroundings clean.
Department of Sociology particularly SEF and Media Cell Sociology received appreciation from numerous departments.

SEF/DOS is going to celebrate *Cleanliness Week* at Campus from monday (5th DEC to 9th)
The purpose of this activity is to create awareness about the importance of cleanliness and healthy life among the students and whole UOC family.

Whole Department will participate and we will gather infront of BS block tomorrow.
Then we will visit other blocks.
Timing 11am to 12pm.

یونیورسٹی آف چکوال نے ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف سوشیالوجی کے ہیڈ آف ڈیپارٹمنٹ ڈاکٹر ملک محمد سہیل کے ساتھ تعاون کرکے آج ایک سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا جو کہ با لخصوص fifth generation war کے حوالے سے تھا کہ آیا ایسے کون سے عوامل ہیں جو مسلم قوم پاکستان کو اپنے وطن سے دور کر رہے ہیں کیسے یہ ان پر حاوی ہیں اور ایسا کیا کیا جائے کہ ہمارا نوجوان اپنی حقیقی مقام و رتبہ کو پہچانے اپنے ملکی سالمیت و استحکام میں جو ادارے کار فرما ہیں انکے شانہ بشانہ رہیں اور ایک نیا مقام دنیا میں پیدا کرے ۔
