Old Music Live Polska it's a branch of Old Music Group GmbH was founded in 2012 by Renelio Perez. Since then, OML has played a key role in shaping the Europe concert landscape and is an international company with experience in the Latin & Hip Hop music industry and producer of live events based in Switzerland and has branch in France, Portugal, Poland, Bulgaria and Croatian. Its main activity is to organize concerts and tours throughout Europe. As a leading live entertainment company in Europe, we have the privilege of working with various artists and we are very fortunate to be able to bring their creativity to life on the most important stages in Europe. Renelio Perez

«You’ll never make it». That’s a sentence, Renelio Perez has heard more than once in his life. Today, he organizes concerts all over Europe with his event management company. Old Music Live is responsible for Europe tours of major Latin artists. He is filling avenues like the Swiss Hallenstadion, Tauron Arena Krakow, Ergo Arena Gdansk, AccorHotels Arena Paris or the Atlice Arena in Lissabon, Portugal.

Renelio Perez was born in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Although he had a carefree childhood, the 34-year-old soon understood that he wasn’t like most of the other kids – or his family. «My parents always wanted me and my brothers to study and pursue a classic and safe career». But the event manager had other plans: He dropped out of college at 22 years old to work whatever job came along his way. He worked as a stagehand for a local production company also as a bartender in a Discotheque. At one point, he even made a living by washing cars

Moving to Switzerland

Perez first realized that he was drawn to organizing events when he was working at a club in the Dominican Republic. «I started enjoying animating people». Eleven years ago, Renelio Perez moved to Switzerland.

Living in Switzerland, Perez got his first job as a bartender at the Latin Palace, a Zurich based club. Still, he never lost his goal of organizing events out of sight. After some months of working at the bar, he convinced the club owner to let him throw a party at the club. The event was a huge success. So huge, that Perez got offered make a party series out of it. The series was sold out regularly.

The club owner, impressed by Perez’s success, introduced him to Mainland Music, Switzerland’s biggest concert promoter. The Dominican soon started a collaboration as a marketing manager & bookings for the Latin market at the company. His first project was a concert with superstar J Balvin in 2016 in Dietikon. In the following three years, Perez proceeded to organize concerts for artists like Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny karol G, Gente De Zona, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Zion & Lennox. In 2015 he also started a party series at the Lion Club in Lucerne. The series lasted for two years until he had to quit it due to his demanding collaboration at Mainland Music. «I had a lot going on with my collaboration at Mainland. I couldn’t keep going on with both commitments».

Mainland Music

After three successful years with the event promoter, Renelio Perez ended the collaboration with Mainland Music. «I wanted to organize international concerts. Mainland Music wasn’t fond of the idea». As if it was meant to be, the international event management giant Live Nation bought the Swiss company right at that time. Perez still decided to start his own business: «It sure would’ve been the easier choice to stay at Mainland. But I would not have been able to call the projects my own. And I would’ve never known if I could’ve done it by myself. But I learned a lot at Mainland and I am very grateful for the collaboration with them».

His last big project with the event promoter was a concert at the Hallenstadion in Zurich in 2018. The artist was no one minor as Maluma, one of the most successful artists in the Latin scene at the moment. Luckily, Maluma and his management kept working with Renelio Perez after he left Mainland Music. Today, the entrepreneur is fulfilling his dreams by organizing concerts in various countries of Europe whit artist like Maluma, Abraham Mateo, CNCO, Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Nicky Jam, Ozuna, Gente De Zona, Becky G, Karol G, Anuel AA, Natti Natasha, Lil Pump, Tekashi...
