As an old soul, I’m so happy to finally share with you one of the most special wedding projects I ever created. Very sentimental with an unforgettable love story as a staring point.

The concept of Olga and Daniel’s reception from the beginning was based on the idea of building the atmosphere of an old, Polish bourgeois home in the heart of the city of culture and art. The venue we chose was the remarkable Pałac pod Baranami.

The guests arriving from many countries were to feel at home - treated to the most wonderful things in Polish culinary art, surrounded by the world-famous Polish hospitality.

Mimo, że tak wiele razy byłam w tym miejscu, nadal nie potrafię wyobrazić sobie co czują panny młode idąc nawą główną do legendarnego Ołtarza Wita Stwosza, otoczone sztuką, która jest tu od wieków i niezwykłym blaskiem światła padającego przez witraże.

W sercu krakowskiego Runku Głównego, wznosi się Kościół Mariacki - na codzień często mijamy go obojętnie, ale tak naprawdę to klejnot gotyckiego piękna - miejsce, w którym czas zwalnia, a oczy zatrzymują się pod malowanymi sklepieniami i złotymi ołtarzami.

Przysięga u stóp legendarnego ołtarza Wita Stwosza, często przy dźwiękach Hejnału Mariackiego, to zupełnie inny wymiar przeżycia.

Even though I have been to this place so many times, I still cannot imagine what the brides feel as they walk down the main nave to the legendary Wit Stwosz Altar, surrounded by art that has been here for centuries and the extraordinary glow of light shining through the stained glass windows.

In the heart of Kraków’s Old Town, there is the Mariacki Church - which on daily basis, we quite often just pass by, when in fact it does rise like a jewel of Gothic beauty. This is a place where time slows, and every stare stops beneath painted vaults and golden altars.

The vows said beneath the wall of the legendary Wit Stwosz altarpiece, with the sound of the St. Mary’s Trumpet Call outside, are a remarkable and unique experience.

ENG: Some inspirations don’t come from trends, but from memories such as the texture of fabric from past years, or maybe from a pottery set pulled out only on special occasions, or from photographs that have survived generations. These objects, gestures and stories - often so inconspicuous and we would say, ordinary - can give a wedding a tone of true authenticity.

DOES RECREATION OF OLD CUSTOMS MAKE SENSE? ✨

It’s never about literal recreation, but about reinterpretation and evoking old emotions.

Sometimes a subtle reference is enough - embroidery on a napkin inspired by a pattern from your family home, porcelain reminiscent of the tableware from your grandmother’s house years ago, a floral motif that recurs on stationery and that appeared on the wallpaper in a beloved room.

Tradition doesn’t have to mean a return to the past.
It’s just a subtle trace of it - enough to give the modern form that is your wedding day a deeper meaning.

Oto Dom, moja tegoroczna Panna Młoda i absolutna aesthetic queen. Dzięki Dom i tej współpracy przypomniałam sobie jak satysfakcjonująca jest praca koncepcyjna, kreatywna, kiedy postanawiasz odłączyć się od social mediów i wszystkich obrazów, które już funkcjonują w sieci.
