🎼Chopin & Italy🎹
💛A long-lasting LOVE STORY 💛
🍷Saturday, 26.10, 17:00
Join us for a concert exploring the strong influences exerted on Chopin by the music and culture of Italy, from his youth in early-19th century Warsaw which was engulfed by a craze for Rossini’s operas, through his adoption of the bel canto, notably inspired by the operas of Bellini, and which accompanied Chopin throughout his entire life, most evidently in his Nocturnes and culminating in the Barcarolle, a glorious tribute to the Venetian gondoliers’ song composed three years before his death.
Pianist: MICHAEL CHEUNG

from France (Ecole Normale de musique Cortot de Paris), UK (Royal Academy of Music) and Canada (Royal Conservatory of Music). As a soloist, he has been invited to perform in
