Happy New Year!!

I am so excited to be finally putting this class together (a bit last minute due to holiday insanities 🫠🙃)

For those who have been asking about growing tips here in the tropics (or anyone purchasing transplants and rhizomes from the Wild Child garden) this class is for you!

We will discuss all sorts of fun things pertaining to having a healthy and thriving garden in one of the harshest growing conditions imaginable (the tropics 🌞 💨 🌧️)

Learn a bunch of simple and affordable ways to keep your soil healthy, limit sun exposure and keep watering efficient and cost effective in the dry season.

Basically learn from all of my mistakes over the last 4 years building the garden on an otherwise nutrient deprived, unlandscaped plot of land!

Space is very limited and will include a tour of the garden and some new installs and projects.

Huge congratulations to and on their beautiful wedding a few weeks ago!

After a week of rain the skies parted for their special day and filled the horizon with the most beautiful backdrop and epic clouds for all the photos.

Tania was the most wonderful bride to work with bringing her vision to life with the full disclosure that I had never actually done flowers for a wedding before 🤣 🙈 She was so encouraging and trusting and everything just came together beautifully.

Thank you so much for involving with such a wonderful event. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, love and flowers!

So pleased to introduce Madeline .mkelly ~ the magic hands behind our upcoming flower bouquets this summer!

Not only did she pick up bouquet making in a snap she did it all while holding a phone and FaceTiming through the whole tutorial 😆 clearly a natural 🌟

Moving forward each bouquet ordered this summer will contribute $20 to her College bound funds to help her build up a savings account before she takes off in August so she can get some books for classes (or beer) 🍻 😊

Our arrangements are available in Small and Large sizes and we also offer the option for weekly or biweekly pickup if you are looking to brighten up your home or business on a regular basis.

Just a few highlights from some of the Mothers Day bouquets! What a wonderful way to end the season and give the garden a solid harvest for Spring!

🌱🌏 Happy Earth Day 🌎 🌱

We only have one home and it’s important to remember that we are all responsible for taking care of her!

A big goal in creating WILD CHILD was to not only propagate and introduce people to the beautiful wild flowers of Puerto Rico but to also educate about sustainability and ways to grow plants in a tropical climate.

With the launch of the business this year it was important to use as many recycled and repurposed materials as possible as the flower business is sometimes not always as green as one might think.

Currently all glass vases available for purchase are made from 100% recycled glass. And our complementary small plastic vases are actually repurposed juice containers! Not only is this my all time favorite green juice, the bottles are perfect to repurpose as flower vases - just peel off the label and cut off the top! 💚

Instead of ribbon, bouquets are wrapped with all natural rope and jute twine for the tags that can easily be reused and will decompose in a landfill ♻️

Next year I look forward to hosting workshops to educate about topics including composting, soil regeneration, rain catchment and irrigation systems 🤓

Hello Spring!

The rains are starting to return and new flowers are in bloom in the garden 🌱 🤸‍♀️🙌

It’s a great time to get new plants in the ground and I will be opening up a whole bunch of rhizome and transplant sales for anyone interested in growing some heliconia varieties of their own!

Please note there is a limited amount of each species available so as not to over harvest the plants.

Discounts available for ordering 2 or more from one species and free delivery of transplants for anyone living in Rincón 🤙
