There isn’t anything more romantic than an intimate wedding ceremony on the beach at sunset - on a tropical island! Ebony, Julius and their son Julian are such a beautiful family - it's hard not to smile. I am thrilled to have been chosen to document this special moment in their lives.

I could have filled an entire album with nothing but people bowled over in full-throated laughter, a reflection on the raucous fun everyone was having at Chris & Lauren's wedding. After the ceremony, the bridal party & I headed to the beautiful Centennial Park in Munster, IN, zipping through fun portraits and arriving at the Radisson Star Plaza in Merrillville, IN just in time to join their families & friends at the cocktail hour.
With days like this it’s my pleasure just to be there, let alone have an opportunity to document their wonderful story. And as always it is an extra pleasure to work a wedding where I run into so many familiar faces from previous events. Everything about this wedding was beautiful, fun & romantic! How lucky I am to have been their chosen photographer.

Allie's dress, oh my, the dress...just stunning!
I really love it when I'm shooting a wedding where I get to see other couples whose weddings I've also photographed. At Allie & Frank's wedding, I felt more like a guest; like an old friend rather than a vendor. I am so grateful to have been included and honored to have been the one to document this amazing event. I truly hope your life together is always filled with health, happiness, laughter & love.

Is there such thing as a perfect wedding? Well, yes there is! Clear blue skies, mild temperatures, smooth [downtown] traffic, great venue, great food, awesome band...every little detail was perfect. Carolyn, the beautiful bride is an Emergency Room doctor. She spends most of her time helping others. If anyone deserves a perfect wedding, it's Carolyn & Sean. And I am so honored to have been a part of this incredible day.

Mary & Steve's awesome Logan Square wedding last weekend was such a treat for me. Their family & friends were fantastic (Sophia-my BFF)! The weather was perfect! Mary is just such a sweet bride. I loved every detail of this romantic, intimate & fun wedding. The ceremony & reception were held at Revolution Brewery. How cool is that? I am incredibly lucky to work with such wonderful people. Thank you Mary & Steve for letting me be a part of your day. Have fun in Punta Cana :-)

Today I had the pleasure of working with Carl + Andriana on their engagement photos. What a treat! Vibrant fall colors at Lurie Gardens, classic Michigan Ave swag then off to Goose Island and finally, Division St. Bridge aka "Death Bridge". Carl + Andriana are easily one of the most natural, genuine couples I've worked with. I am pumped to be shooting their wedding next summer!
