Your sponsorship support can make such a HUGE difference to ALL the doggies in our care, some of whom have waited a lifetime to experience kindness, safety and comfort, some who have never known a home, others who have but have had this taken away.

👉How will your donation be used?

Your generosity will allow the continued care for the dogs at our shelter. From food, water and basic comforts to the veterinary care each dog needs (vaccinations, sterilisations, tick, flea prevention, de wormers, yearly vaccines and rabies vaccines every 3 years) for those dogs who aren’t fortunate enough to have a home of their own.

In addition several of the dogs in our care who have been with us for a few years (despite trying very hard to find them homes) require ongoing medical treatment and a tailored diet to help with their conditions.

Two examples:

🐾Buzz: 170 euros a month (75E special allergenic food / 95 E medication)

🐾Chilli: 158 euros a month (69 E for special food / 89 E medication )

Of course our ultimate goal is to find every dog in our care a loving home. So please if you are interested in adopting, contact us, so we can give you all their details, visit, and you can also look through our album with doggies ready for adoption.

A Orquestra do Algarve tem vindo a explorar uma abordagem para cativar o público mais jovem, inspirando-se na convicção de que a aprendizagem é mais eficaz quando é experiencial. Neste contexto, surgiu já há alguns anos o projeto intitulado "Concertos Pedagógicos", uma iniciativa cuidadosamente concebida com o propósito de disseminar, sensibilizar e educar as crianças e adolescentes sobre o universo da música clássica. 🎻🎺

O cerne deste projeto reside na compreensão de que é através da experiência e da observação que as crianças constroem o conhecimento e reorganizam os seus padrões de pensamento, promovendo assim o seu desenvolvimento intelectual. Com este princípio norteador, a Orquestra do Algarve busca proporcionar condições ideais para a ampliação do saber musical entre o público mais jovem. 🤩

Os "Concertos Pedagógicos" oferecem uma oportunidade única para as crianças e jovens explorarem os diversos instrumentos que compõem uma orquestra, bem como conhecerem as obras de renomados compositores clássicos e contemporâneos, de forma divertida e didática. Este encontro musical não só visa entreter, mas também cultivar uma apreciação profunda pela música desde tenra idade, contribuindo assim para a formação cultural e artística das novas gerações. 😀

Os concertos deste ano serão liderados pelo maestro Martim Sousa Tavares e acontecerão dias 6, 7 e 8 de março, respetivamente, em S. Brás de Alportel, Lagoa, Silves e Albufeira.

Time seems to fly this year and as we reach the end of January already, I have all reason to be very grateful. 2024 has started unbelievably well for the art project.

January’s featured painting “Hope” found a home within a couple of hours after posting. The donation has already been used to sterilise another female dog. I will post the photo of this dog next week.

A couple of weeks later, the same family decided to choose some of my paintings to decorate their lovely home. I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity.

Thank you, Deirdre and Kenneth, for supporting the art project. Together we truly made a difference!

As a result, another donation has been raised for StreetLife Animal Sterilisation Programme. It will take a few weeks until dogs will be chosen, sterilised and recover from their surgery but, when I receive the photos in a few weeks, I will share them with you.

One donation went to Benafim Dogs Rescue and deserves its own post soon.

And finally, another small donation from the paintings went to Buddy’s Legacy. This group was founded last year and has already achieved so much. Perhaps you want to support this group with a couple of Euros from time to time or even better on a monthly basis? Have a look at Buddy's Legacy!

Time to reflect upon 2023 but to focus on 2024.

We had an incredible year, the steep-learning curve shows no signs of any let-up and to be recognised by international blue chip companies wanting to work with Lifestyle makes Lewis and I immeasurably proud.

2024 promises great things and we are already steadfast focused on pushing ourselves, collaborators and advertisers in continuing to hone our skill set and to have Lifestyle become arguably the most luxurious magazine in Portugal.

We realise that there are only 168-hours in a week & whilst we utterly fuel our passion and desire with our magazine, we need other committed individuals to join our Lifestyle Family. We are very pleased to announce that we will soon be revealing an enviable line-up of driven and professional individuals who are integral for Lifestyle to remain on-course to become a national luxury bi-lingual magazine.

Our front window to Lifestyle are our front covers and to capture incredible photo’s of consummate professionals with behind-the-scenes footage is now our blueprint for our front covers. We pride ourselves on worthy individuals / celebrities being showcased and placed on the spotlight of our front cover. Whilst I would love to reveal our utter excitement with our already chosen celebrities for our front covers throughout 2024, the reveal for each cover will play out initially on our social media platforms and will feature our behind-the-scenes capture.

Our February / March issue is just around the corner and we’ve got an incredible line-up of columnists and diverse and captivating editorials.

Thank you for all your comments and messages yesterday. We are hoping time will help.... emotions are too raw right now. We are focussing on all the doggies, making sure they are okay. They all loved Wendy, she was their Queen. Dennis, Wendy's best friend is our upmost priority - one of the smartest dogs you will ever meet - another beautiful soul so deeply let down. Please we ask that as well as commenting on our posts, you share. We will not stop trying to help as many dogs as we can find the homes they deserve.🐾💜

Wishing all wedding couples in 2023 an amazing time getting married in Portugal! Chilli Pepper Productions - Videography & Photography are pleased to present a new wedding service which is to capture your wedding with a “Live Feed” We film your ceremony with professional video and audio capture allowing anybody in the world to be a part of your wedding ceremony.

We are now offering this service to “all” wedding couples!

How it works:

- You tell us your date, time and venue for your big day.

- We confirm our availability and price.

- Upon acceptance, if we have previously filmed at the venue then that’s fine. If we haven’t, we visit the venue / liaise with your wedding planner or your celebrant to see exactly where is most suited for us to capture the ceremony.

- We check the 4G signal specifically at the venue to ensure it’s fine.

- We create a private link, which is customised for your wedding day. The link will only become live on the day of your wedding and will be setup just moments prior to your wedding guests arrival. This allows your viewers to feel part of your wedding day.

- After the ceremony has been captured, there is an option for anybody to re-watch the ceremony or for you to record and pass to anybody who wasn’t able to watch your ceremony live.

We recently offered this service, for our wedding couples when family members and friends were unable to attend the wedding. This was due to illness, unable to travel, distance being too far - a whole host of reasons and the feedback we have received from both the wedding couples and their family and friends has been amazing.

If you have booked our video / photo services for your day then we are discounting the price for this additional service, as we are already capturing video / photo for your special day.
