«Apeteceu-me parar um pouco e olhar para trás: pelo caminho tantas canções e cada uma com a sua história... companheiros de aventura, bons e maus momentos, talvez lembrar e sorrir, tornar a desfrutar esses instantes... E porque não partilhar num concerto? Mas se são tantas as situações que é impossível condensar numa apresentação solitária, então porque não fazer várias, no mesmo local, numa espécie de residência? Assim nasceu o “Canta-me Histórias”, uma série de 20 presenças todas diferentes, onde, à boleia das canções, irei desfiando histórias sobre as minhas experiências enquanto músico, completamente sozinho e só com as guitarras entre mim e a audiência.»

Bia Ferreira is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and activist hailing from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Bia's music is a mix of gospel, rap and reggae; she conquered Brazil with the song "cota nao é esmola" (racial quotas are not charity), an anti-racist resistance anthem. Karyna Gomes is a singer and composer currently based in Lisbon, Portugal. Born to a Guinea-Bissau father and a Cape-Verde mother in the small city of Bissau, she grew up listening to traditional music, local urban rhythms, and sounds from around the world. Her music is rooted in the courtyard gatherings typical of tropical societies, influenced by her life on three continents - Africa, Latin America and Europe.
