Our tastebuds take us to Italy this week, revisiting some classics to inspire your table. A bright and fresh soup and pate welcome the warming weather, alongside the punchy flavours of Sugo alla Puttanesca. For heartier offerings we have Lasagne al Ragù and Melanzane Parmigiana, two absolute favourites of ours. ⁣

We’re back with a classic this week for the Wednesday takeaway- comforting ‘lasagne al ragù’ and a delicate spinach and artichoke version. Hearty bean soup and chicken liver pâté round out the midweek meal, with fresh sourdough loaves and focaccia also available. ⁣Portions are selling out fast, so reserve yours today!

A stormy evening last Friday brought fresh challenges to our logistics - perhaps grilling koftas over charcoal in the pouring rain was a little too ambitious after all!⁣
⁣
For this week’s Midweek Meal we were inspired by the comforting flavours of Texas and North Mexico to bring you a warming (but not too spicy!) chilli with buttery cornbread and delectable sides. For something slightly different, we will also be offering a silkily smooth chicken liver pâté to enjoy with a sourdough loaf, radishes and a glass of fine wine. We are preparing to change tone into lighter Spring meals, so enjoy this comforting classic while the weather still encourages it!⁣

A huge thank you to everyone who made it to our first trial takeaway, it was a pleasure to cook for you all, and your feedback has been incredibly useful for designing next month’s menu.⁣
⁣
This week we are trialling something different- Midweek Meals, high-quality comfort food ready to be reheated at your convenience. These can be collected fresh every Wednesday, or frozen every Friday, alongside Charles’ sourdough and Jivan’s organic bone broth. ⁣

We are very excited to announce a new partnership with Jivan Russel ( ) to bring affordable, high quality takeaway meals with a focus on exquisite ingredients sourced as locally and seasonally as possible, and brought together with passion. A regular takeaway service will begin in March alongside the weekly baked goods already available from C’Alma . Jivan will also be offering his ‘miracle’ grass-fed beef bone broth which many of you already know well.⁣

This month we will be hosting two pop-up takeaway events where you can sample a small selection of what will be on offer next month. We will begin on Friday 23rd February with an Indian banquet, with rich dishes of lamb biryani, creamy dal makhani, and a selection of mixed vegetable sides. Availability will be limited, so register your interest now! The full menu will follow soon. ⁣
