🌸Thought we'd share our highlight for the week and spread some happiness 🌸

As a small floral design studio, we believe in trying to connect and giveback to the community of where we call home - Ericeira.

Flowers lighten everyone's day, with this said, we are donating all flowers from our weddings if they are still in good shape, rather than throwing them in the compost.

These flowers were donated to Lar São Lourenço, an assisted living facility.

Hello everyone!

Just popping by to remind you that we will be selling a limited amount of petite hand-tied fresh flower bouquets at Salt Studio from Friday March 11th to Sunday March 13th. You will be able to find us at the space from 11am.

100% of proceeds will go to raise funds for Save the Children in Ukraine. Save the Children has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, and funds will help provide children and families with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance. If you have time this weekend feel free to pop by the space to say hi and take home a cute bouquet. Each bouquet will include a card with an inspirational quote by Ukrainian poets, philosophers, and artists, as well as our special Flower Care Guide to help you look after the flowers at home.

Our approach to floral design is experimental, contemporary, landscape inspired and sustainable - staying away from using any floral foam (which unfortunately has become a staple in the floral industry) and working with seasonal and locally grown material as much as possible in order to decrease our climate impact.
Señorita Sandwich combines traditional bookbinding techniques with graphic design, creating gorgeously illustrated organic-cotton tote bags, kraft-paper cards, and recycled-paper notebooks. Nature is illustrated in all her work, paying homage to the environment and our fellow animal beings that surround us. She works using only high-quality, organic and recycled material.
We are offering you the chance to take home one of her beautiful amapola tote bags with a unique hand-tied bouquet, or a recycled paper notebook and sustainable card with an Ikebana-style floral arrangement.

I stay away from using floral foam, and focus on using local and seasonal blooms to minimize the impact of energy and water consumed for growing flowers - instead of using blooms that are otherwise grown + flown from overseas.
