My apologies for not being active since February but obviously covid arrived, lockdown happened, laws where set in place and things became confusing and rather scary. At the moment Portugal has implemented a law in which no more than 20 people can lawfully gather at an 'event or 'party ' in the Algarve. Masks must be worn for service staff and social distancing must be complied with. There is no sign of this changing anytime soon or even this summer. For the immediate future the only way we are able to move forward is to offer delivery of a party menu if you are having a few people over. Minimum 10 maximum 20. We are concentrating on local only at the moment and orders by telephone only and within a 15/20 km radius of luz. Obviously if you have a few vegetarians amongst meat eaters we are happy to accommodate and visa versa. We need 48 hours notice, all deliveries will be delivered to your door in disposable containers or with paella pans we can pick up following day. Its not much but it might make a difference to your weekend and ours. Thankyou for your continued vigilance to keep the Algarve safe. We all appreciate it.

Paella. Chicken, chourizo and prawn or seafood paella. Cooked fresh on site in a 60 cm paella pan, served with a fresh buffet. Yummmmmm.

Paella for 18 up to 60 people, chicken , chourizo and prawn paella or seafood paella. Or vegetarian with tofu paella. Cooked on site at your party with a while buffet to go with, 2 salads, fresh bread selection, fruit platter, sauces and dressings and Portuguese custard tarts as an after along with cherry liquor in chocolate cups, plates , cutlery and napkins .

Liza and her team at The Fat Pig Hog Roast are simply amazing. We got in touch with Liza to explain that we would like to provide catering for our wedding guests the day after our wedding day.

From the minute we made contact we received the best customer service we could have asked for.

The food was absolutely out of this world, we opted for pork and chicken and prawns with yummy side salads. Our guests still talk about our pool party and the food is always the main topic up for discussion.

The team were amazing and took care of absolutely everything allowing us to spend lots of time with our guests.

If anyone is looking for a catering company for your wedding. ‘The fat pig’ is a must.

We got married in June this year. Liza Walker and her team were outstanding!

The food was incredible. We had guests come to us after the wedding and said “The food was the best outdoor catering we have had” I agree!
