EN// The Voodoo Club is a collective project from Lisbon, conceived by DJs King Dead Billy and Hang the DJ that aims the production and dissemination of music and performing arts events through live concerts, Djing, and Burlesque Shows. Our musical influences come from the 50s and 60s , yet the musical journey we provide is also made with later sounds whose influence are from these years, through the Jungle - Exotica, Surf Rock, Sleazy Music, Psychobilly, Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll, Garage Punk, R&B, Soul and Dirty Blues. Another influence is the aesthetic and the whole universe of the retro series B movies of the 50’s decade, horror , sci –fi, westerns and vintage comics of that time. The Voodoo Club promises you a journey through time to all these parallel universes , and for that we have the collaboration of bands and djs that identify themselves with these genres. Ghouls , witches, zombies , vampires, werewolves , monsters from other galaxies and freaks are all welcome. PT// The Voodoo Club é um projecto colectivo idealizado pelos Djs King Dead Billy e Hang the Dj que tem como objectivo a produção de eventos e a divulgação de música e artes performativas através de concertos ao vivo, de Djing, e Shows de Burlesco. As nossas influências musicais têm origem nos anos 50 e 60, contudo a viagem musical que proporcionamos é feita também com sons posteriores cuja influência é a dessa época, passando pelo Jungle - Exotica, Surf Rock, Sleazy Music, Psychobilly, Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll, Garage Punk, R&B, Soul e Dirty Blues. Outra influência é a estética e todo o universo dos filmes retro série B da década 50, terror, sci-fi e westerns, bem como os vintage comics da época. The Voodoo Club promete uma viagem no tempo a todos estes universos paralelos, e para isso contamos com a participação de bandas e djs que se identifiquem com estes géneros. Ghouls, bruxas, zombies, vampiros, lobisomens, monstros de outras galáxias e freaks são todos bem-vindos.
