XVII FEIRA MEDIEVAL DE SILVES CONVIDA VISITANTES A VIVER “UM DIA NA HISTÓRIA”

Após dois anos de interregno, a Feira Medieval regressa à cidade de Silves, de 10 de 20 de agosto, com 11 dias de recriação histórica do período medieval da antiga capital do Reino do Algarve, numa viagem no tempo que convida a experienciar "Um dia na História".

O quotidiano da Xilb islâmica numa das sextas-feiras do ano de 1147 dá mote a esta edição do evento, que enche a madinat Xilb de momentos e sons já tão conhecidos, como as boas vindas dadas pelo Vizir, o chamamento à oração pelo Al-Muezzin, o burburinho dos vendedores e o som da música e alegria contagiante destes dias.

Dois torneios diários, um espetáculo no Castelo, uma dezena de pontos de animação fixos, animação itinerante, seis praças de tascas medievais, dois roupeiros, um espaço educativo e lúdico dirigido aos mais novos (Xilb dos Pequenos), mais de duas dezenas de grupos de animação; um acampamento berbere com mercadores de produtos exóticos, ferreiros, carpinteiros e oleiros a trabalhar nos seus ofícios e as habituais experiências medievais são apenas alguns dos atrativos desta Feira Medieval de Silves, onde marcam presença mais de uma centena de expositores, entre artesãos, mesteirais, doçaria, místicos, mercadores e mouraria.

Serão 11 dias que não irá querer perder num ambiente e cenário únicos, constituídos pelo traçado peculiar do tecido urbano do centro histórico da cidade e pela imponência dos seus monumentos. O Município de Silves convida todos a fazer parte desta grande festa do verão algarvio e a viver “um dia na História”!

Post Brexit applications for Brits to relocate to Portugal is reported as being up by 111%. Extended travel restrictions between the two countries provoked our decision to extend our Live Virtual Viewing Service, previously an exclusive service for our overseas client base, to our EU and British clients. Over the past 8 months we've seen this concept adopted across the Algarve providing the opportunity for clients to secure their property purchases without health risk, without travel and accommodation expenses, and from the comfort of their own homes.
