- Unique - regardless of the style itself
- Great location or the setting of it/architecture is exceptional and unreplicable
- Excellent accessibility and it is not far from the airport/hotel area
In the early stages of venue finding, my couples often share with me locations they have browsed online and think could be a great fit.
Based on this initial shortlist, I often come across lovely wedding venues in Portugal that have great potential but not for international weddings.
Considering the venue as the most important piece of the puzzle is essential. Still, it needs to fit in the puzzle, and keeping in mind that you are choosing a wedding abroad, your venue should—in my opinion—speak about the destination itself. It can be a historic venue, a modern place with a superb location, or a rustic/vineyard element as long as it makes it worth the travel for everyone.

It was an incredibly successful season! I experienced unique moments with all my couples and with all the suppliers and partners, from the contacts during the planning phase to the epic days we created together.
